~Good morning! Can you believe it’s already (almost) October? Ahhh! Where has this year gone? So much I wanted to get done and so much, uh, I haven’t done.
~Is anyone else reading (or done with) Big Little Lies? I am totally obsessed with it. Let me tell you, L’s classmate’s parents isn’t nearly as exciting as these people are. I hope the movie does it justice! I must say, Birchbox has been picking some fabulous books for their book club. October isn’t just one book, it’s all of Gillian Flynn’s books. I haven’t read Gone Girl yet (I know, I am behind the times), so that’s what I am going to read.
~I don’t have a ton of boxes coming this week, but there are a few. I am expecting FabFitFun, Hazel Lane, a Citrus Lane Mystery Box, The Boodle Box, PashBox (I cannot wait to check out what they are doing now that it’s a quarterly box), Five Four Club, Wantable, Sudsy Box and Hammock Pack. Now that I typed them all out, that is quite a bit more than a few!
~I did that update for my iPhone last week and I have been noticing that when I talk on the phone that the touch screen is SO sensitive. Like I’ll be talking and all of a sudden I hear all these beeps and realize my cheek is barely grazing the phone and pressing all the buttons. What gives? It’s super annoying and I hope that the next update for the last new update (lol) fixes this! Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?
~Now that I have seen Lauren Conrad’s dress, I have my sites set on checking out Amal Alamuddin’s wedding dress! Because really, what does one wear when they marry GEORGE CLOONEY? Whatever it was, I bet it was flippin fantastic. Fingers crossed this will be in People this week!
~I got the best package in the mail over the weekend from a reader (that sounds so weird to say) a friend I did a trade with. I sent her a few things she had said she liked and I received this in exchange. I THOUGHT she was just sending the check registers (super odd but I always run out before I run out of checks and I am too old school to track that online), but she sent all this. Thank you Kelsey! She sells Origami Owl (she didn’t ask me to tell you that though) so if you ever need some stuff from there, check here out.
~Does anyone host a Kid’s Halloween Party? I have always thought this sounded fun and there are so many cute ideas for it on Pinterest (why do I even look there), but I don’t know of anyone who really has the parties. I mean seriously how cute is that food? That bloody bandaid one actually makes me want to vomit, but L would go wild for that. So gross!
