Dottiebox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of high quality handmade items for women, from both small businesses and indie brands.  They offer their standard Dottiebox which is $26/month and a Dottiebox Mini subscription, which is $13/month.  I did a review on the September (full-sized) Dottiebox here and now it’s time for the Dottiebox Mini review.

The Box

Dottiebox ships via USPS First Class Mail.  I’ve heard great things about their customer service and boxes always seem to ship on time.

Since I had already received the full-sized Dottiebox I was curious to see if this one would be similar or totally different or what.

The Information Card

The September 2014 Dottiebox Mini contained the following items:

~FLOX Coasters (Cheeky Birds) ($18): Birds tend to creep me out a bit, but since these are  just pictures I can handle it.  The coasters are made from 100% recycled rubber in the USA.  Which actually reminded me that B and I ordered flip-flops made out of recycled tires from Detroit over a month ago and haven’t gotten them yet.  I need to look into that.

~Berry’s Creations Loose Nail Glitter ($4):  I think I am going to send this to one of my cousins.  I do love pink glitter though, so maybe they will share with me ;).

~Einvite Stationary Sampling ($5): This actually came in the full-sized Dottiebox as well, but who can’t use more stationary?

All totaled I came up with a value of $27 for the September 2014 Dottiebox Mini.  That’s more than double the cost of the box this month which might just make it the most valuable Dottiebox Mini to date!

Did you get a Dottiebox this month?  What’d you think?  If you are hoping to get this box, you are in luck because it’s still available!!  If you are interested in ordering or just want to learn more, click here.

This was the first month that I didn’t like anything in my dottie box:( I thought the bird design and color on the coasters was gross, won’t use the stationary, and don’t like the peach color of the glitter I got. I am trying to figure out who I know that will like these things. Luckily I loved last month’s box so much that it makes up for it:)

I like your attitude! There are going to be some months like that with most subs in my opinion. Hopefully you can trade some of it if you can’t gift it.
