Fair Treasure, who kindly sent me this box to review, sends fair trade items such as jewelry, glass wear, pottery and paper goods, to your door each month. Their goal is to make it easier for everyone to explore the very best that Fair Trade products have to offer… and in turn, providing exposure and supporting the communities of people making these treasures.
FAIR Treasure ships via USPS and generally takes just a few days to arrive. I say it every month, but I think it’s important to mention that I have never heard of any issues with FAIR Treasure‘s shipping, subscribers receiving damaged products, etc. That must mean it’s pretty good!
I have gotten so many different types of items from FAIR Treasure that I never quite know what to expect. And this month was no exception.
The September 2014 FAIR Treasure Box theme was “Back to School” Weekend Box and included the following items to help you enhance your weekend routine:
~Matr Boomie Linked Up Earrings ($15): These earrings look like something you could buy at a fancy boutique. Matr Boomie is a fair trade collection from India that provides workers with training and income which empowers them financially and strengthens their confidence. The craftsmanships is amazing and I know exactly who I will be gifting these to for Christmas.
~Matr Boomie Jogi Cushion Cover (~$20): How gorgeous is this? Goodness! I am going to try and pick up two more of these to use on my couch. I absolutely love them and love that they will fit the pillows I already have.
I came up with an (estimated) value of $35 on September 2014 FAIR Treasure box, but I am guessing I am a bit off. I am a little distracted because I cannot stop thinking about that cushion cover and finding more of them.
