Foot Cardigan, who kindly sent me this package for review, is a monthly sock subscription service. Each month they send subscribers a pair of weird and crazy and unexpected socks. Current subscriptions are offered for Men or Women, but Foot Cardigan is planning on starting a kid’s sock subscription service (Whippersnappers) just in time for the holidays.
Foot Cardigan ships via USPS and generally takes just a few days to arrive. Shipments will arrive monthly around the same time of the month as when you first subscribed.
I didn’t take a first look picture because, well, it’s socks. They come in individual plastic bags and a packing list is also included. The packing list detailed the socks we received last month (Scooter Dreams and Charlie) and also this month’s selections. Our September 2014 Foot Cardigan (we received both Men’s & Women’s) selections were as follows:
~Men’s: Bees: These are awesome. Whenever B gets new socks in a subscription box I just put them away in his drawer and see if he ever asks were they come from. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn’t. These are probably the most out there socks he owns, but I so hope he’ll wear them because I love them. And printed socks like this are much easier to sort than a pile of black / brown / navy socks.
~Women: Big Dots: Well, B’s socks were awesome, but not as awesome as mine! I love the colors, the giant polka dots, everything. Sadly it’s sock weather here in MI already, but these will make it a bit a lot more fun.
Since all of the socks have Foot Cardigan tags on them I couldn’t do a cost breakdown on this box. The socks are high quality though so I feel like the $11/month price tag (and $2 of that is actually shipping) is about right. Plus, where else are you going to get bumble bee socks?
