Googaro, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box for babies 0-3 years of age. Each month Googaro sends selects mom-approved items for you and your baby straight to your door. You’ll receive some of their favorite finds including toys, books, snacks, and household products.
Googaro ships via DHL Global Mail. It starts out with DHL and is then delivered by USPS. I don’t know how long it took to arrive this month (I can’t find my original tracking e-mail), but I do know that it was over a week.
I could hear a lot of clanking inside the box so I was a tad worried something had opened or was broken. But everything was totally fine. And looked great.
The September 2014 Googaro Box included the following items:
~Kid-O Chopping Vegetables ($21.47): OMG! I have never heard about this brand before, but wow, I love this set. The fruits are magnetic and fit together like a puzzle. And then you can slice and chop them up with the little knife that comes with it. And it comes with a little carrying tote bag too. So flipping cute. Did I mention I love this? Because I do.
~Otto Goes to School ($3.39): Very cute book and I think L may actually end up liking it better than WB because it’s something he can read to us.
~Kid Kusion Splatmat ($9.99): I’m not thinking about this for mealtime, I am thinking about this for arts & craft time and pumpkin carving time! We always make such a mess and this will save me a bit (okay a lot) of clean up.
~Happy Family Freeze Dried Yogurt Melts ($6.59): WB hasn’t had these in ages, but he’s always a big fan. L actually likes them too. They are really good and I love that they come in individual snack sized packs so you can grab them and take them on the go.
All totaled I came up with a value of $41.44 for the September 2014 Googaro box. I totally loved this box (mainly thanks to the veggie set but I liked everything else too) and thought it was one of the best boxes they have had in a while.

I really liked the veggie set, too! We have the set from Melissa & Doug, but some of those are rather sharp/splintery on the edges, so I didn’t want to give them to my daughter. These seem better. I wasn’t too happy with the splat mat, though, since my daughter hasn’t used a high chair in like a year and a half. Ended up cancelling in favor of keeping Bluum (and Citrus Lane, who I’m not that happy with, but did a 6-month subscription a while ago). Since my daughter turned 3 in April, I think a lot of the stuff in here is too young for her. She did really like the Otto book though, especially because she just started taking the bus to preschool!
I have the wood Plan Toys (I think?) set and they are cute, but these are just SO cute.
Got the same box (did the Rue la la 3 month subscription deal from last month) and E carries that veggie set everywhere! Someone gave her a little pumpkin and she throws that in the bag as well! Feeling the kids subscription boxes are really hit or miss lately. Haven’t been thrilled with CL lately but forgot to cancel before it renewed. Will try Bluum again next.
I want to find out if they have other fruits and veggies too!
