MissionCute, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of cute stuff, but with a mission. Each MissionCute box comes with at least 2 items made by small-but-mighty artisans and local businesses and each month they partner with a different nonprofit to help promote their mission. 50% of the net proceeds of each box are donated to the chosen monthly nonprofit (this month is Bright Blessings) and MissionCute also sponsors and works on a service project each month in their community.

MissionCute ships via USPS and took just a few days to arrive to me. Boxes ship on the 15th of the month. If you subscribe before the 10th of the month you will receive that month’s box. If you subscribe after the 10th of the month, your subscription will start the following month.
Just how cute is this first look? I love all the different prints and the black and white theme!
The September 2014 MissionCute partner is “Bright Blessings” and 50% this month’s proceeds will be donated to them. Bright Blessings’ goal is to bring joy, recognition and support to children and their families during difficult and sad times in their lives. Here is what the box included:
~Bearsley & Bumski “Good Vibes Only” Kraft Notebook ($4): Bearsley & Brumski creates their notebooks by hand and has a lot of funny designs on their site. Not all of them would be appropriate for all places, but they made me laugh.
~Mission Cute Drawstring Bag ($12): Adorable! Does anyone know what this type of pattern is called? I haven’t got a clue, but I love it.
~Sable & Snow “Do What You Love” Print ($14): I absolutely love this. Everything about it is perfect. The colors, the quote, the design, I love it all! It’s going up in my office today.
~MissionCute Polka Dot Watch ($19): I do not wear a watch, but I do appreciate the cuteness of this one and will be passing it on to a friend.
~Positive Pens from Paper Trail ($5): I am a complete sucker for office supplies so it’s no surprise that I love these pens. It sounds dumb, but I swear having cute sticky notes, good pens and that sort of thing makes work more fun. At least that’s what I used to think when I worked!
~Thatch & Thistle Hot Pink Heart Stickers ($3): MissionCute has just partnered with Thatch & Thistle for some new packaging designs so they decided to include some fun stickers from them this month as well. Their site has a ton of adorable stuff and if you have a shop they would be one to check out for sure.
All totaled I came up with a value of $57 for the September 2014 MissionCute box. I absolutely loved this box and thought it was well curated and they really did complete their mission by bringing a box of cute stuff this month! Super cute stuff!
