The Sweet Box by Orange Glad, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a carefully curated box of sweet snacks which is delivered to your door every month. It includes 5 deluxe gourmet desserts and the Orange Glad Marketplace allows you to place orders for more of the goodies you love!

The Box

Orange Glad ships via USPS Priority Mail and takes just a few days to arrive.

First Look

This month’s Orange Glad box was packed in a cooler type bubble wrap and had cold packs surrounding it.  The packs were not still cold when it arrived so I was a tad worried about the contents of the box, but it turns out that all was well.

Second First Look

Orange Glad uses the cutest packaging for their treats (and I just realized that the information card identifies the treats by their packaging) and I still feel bad ripping into them every month.

The Information Card

The September 2014 Orange Glad box contained the following items:

~Studmuffin Desserts Jackie Os: Hands down my favorite snack in the box.  They are meringue chocolate chip cookies and they are fabulous.  The information card suggests trying them with champagne.  I have a few left so why not?

~Irene’s Bakery & Gourmet Kitchen Raspberry Twists: I’ve never been a big fan of pastries (wait is this even a pastry), so I am going to leave these for B to eat.  Had they been filled with chocolate, well I’d be all over that.

~Miette Lavender Shortbread Cookie: I was actually very impressed that these did not break during shipping.  They arrived in perfect condition and were very tasty.  The lavender wasn’t too much and I would like to try some of their other cookies.

~The Cookie Department Awaken Baked Cookie: Love.these.  They are my favorite Cookie Department cookies.  It’s naturally caffeinated and it really does give you a nice perk up after eating it.  And I didn’t know it until now, but The Cookie Department now sells “Break Size” cookies.  Their original ones are really big, but these Break Size ones are perfect.

~Seattle’s Favorite Gourmet Cookies and Dessert Co. Gourmet Cinnamon Roll:  Obviously the best way to eat a cinnamon roll is fresh out of the oven, but this was pretty darn good.  Like the card says, what’s not to love about cinnamon rolls?  Does anyone not like them?

As usual I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box, but, as usual, I am pleased with it.  They always seem to come up with treats I didn’t know existed from places I didn’t know were there.  Some I would have again (The Jackie Os) and some not so much.  But trying them with B and the kids is always fun.
