I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of my first ever (and the first ever) Rockettes Fancy Box and it finally arrived yesterday.

Just in case you aren’t familiar, Fancy, which is $39/month (plus shipping), has a “regular” Fancy Box full of cool goodies and also celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by The Rockettes (which is one of their latest celebrity collaborations) Jennifer Love Hewitt, Verbal, Kelly Rowland, Coco Rocha, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain and / or Nicky Hilton. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is one of my favorites), a Culinary Box and Fancy Mystery Boxes.

Fancy Box ships via FedEx.  It left New York on Wednesday and arrived to me here in Michigan on Friday which standard for their shipping time to me.

Not only have I never taken dance (not even when I was little), I also have never seen The Rockettes in person.  However, I still subscribed partly because I was curious about it (you just never know what a Fancy Box will include) and partly because I’d love to learn how to dance.

The September 2014 Rockettes Fancy Box included the following favorites from dance to beauty, fashion to fitness:

~Leg Warmers ($18): I don’t know why the girl on the package is topless, but at least her legs are warm!  Ha!  I have not owned a pair of leg warmers since about 1987, but I am oddly excited about these.  They will be awesome this winter with a pair of leggings.  B’s going to make some rude comment about them, but it makes me even more excited to wear them.

~Holly Headband Set ($12):  I was hoping that they would include a headband in this box and they not only included one, they included three!  I love Twistbands and think the patterns on these are great.

~If Not Now Then When Tote ($18): This cute tote is made out of a heavy canvas and could be used for just about anything.  What I really like on it is the saying.  Totally true too.

~M3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker ($24.16): This speak retails for about $70, but it’s selling on Amazon right now for $24, so I went with that price.  L and WB are really into music lately, so I think I am going to try and make them a playlist and hook this up so they can have their dance parties anywhere they want.

All totaled I came up with a value of $72.16 for the September 2014 Rockettes Fancy Box.  I thought the curation on this one was great and it really felt like it was put together by the Rockettes. Sometimes the celebrity curated boxes have me wondering if the celebs really picked those items, but that was not the case at all with this box.
