Unbound Box

Unbound Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a quarterly erotic subscription box that brings you a collection of 5-7 products devoted to a provocative theme.

And now, as I do with all the “adult” boxes, I’m going to spoil the rest just in case you would prefer not to have any “adult” things pop-up on your screen if you aren’t expecting it!

[spoiler]

The Box

Unbound ships via UPS Priority Mail and arrives quite quickly.  This box was huge, but super light.  I seriously had no idea what to expect.

First Look

Inside the brown box was the actual Unbound box.  It also included the item that didn’t fit in the Unbound box, but we’ll get to that in a minute. Oh and I should mention that you never really know what to expect when you open up an “adult” box.  I tend to open these boxes during nap time or after the kiddos are in bed.  Just in case.

The Information Card

The September 2014 Unbound box theme was “Erotic Education” and included the following items:

~The Big Book of Submission: 69 Kinky Tales ($12.93): This book is a collection of 69 (I mean how many else would there be?) short stories about the world of submission.  Probably not something you’d want to put in your bookshelf in your office, but there’s a little something in this book for everyone.

The Big Book of Submission: 69 Kinky Tales

~Babeland Massage Candle in Honey Almond ($16): Well, you are supposed to use the brush that comes under the lid to apply the melted wax on the skin, but I just like burning the candle.  It smells great and burns very clean.

~Maison Close La Petite Secret Lingerie ($17.50): If it weren’t for the picture on the back of this box, I don’t know that I would have been able to figure out what this was.  It (obviously) doesn’t leave much to the imagination ;).

Maison Close La Petite Secret Lingerie

~Sustain Condoms Ultra Thin 3 Pack ($5.99): These condoms are fair trade, vegan certified and sustainably produced.  I had no idea vegan condoms even existed!

Sustain Condoms Ultra Thin 3 Pack

~Maison Close La Petite Lecon ($14): This is the item that didn’t fit in the Unbound box.  And I think you know what this is for!  Gotta keep em’ in line.  Watch out for the tassels coming off this one though.  I didn’t realize that any had fallen off, but I found some on my kitchen floor after I took these pictures.

All totaled I came up with a value of $66.42 for the September 2014 Unbound Box.  It’s just slightly over the $65 cost of the box, but that includes shipping and there are a few items that I am guessing your local “toy” store probably doesn’t sell! I also thought they did a great job with the theme on this one!
