Wantable, who kindly sent me this box to review, offers three (soon to be four) different types of subscription boxes. This box is their makeup box, which includes 4 to 5 full-sized premium makeup products, hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences. They also offer intimates and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences. And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. You just go into your account, go to your order history and click “Return Items” and you’ll get a prepaid label and a full refund.
Wantable ships via USPS and took just about a week to arrive. I think this box shipped at the same time my Intimates box shipped, but this arrived a day later.
Right away I knew this box was fabulous. I couldn’t see colors yet and I didn’t really know what everything was, but I knew I was happy.
Like I mentioned before, you can totally customize your Wantable box. You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike. You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike. It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing. The only Dislike I have is eyeliner and it’s been working out well for me.
The September 2014 Wantable Makeup box featured the following bold looks for the season:
~Tarina Tarantino Dollskin Blush Palette ($45): OMG gorgeous. This is easily my favorite Wantable box product ever. I absolutely love it. It includes the following four blushes: Candy Cameo – Shimmering Pink, Feather – Shimmering Peach, Carved Rose – Cool Vivid Pink and Parasol – Shimmering Bright Coral Pink. All are totally wearable and blend awesome. And the packaging is just gorgeous. I am thrilled with this.
~Grande Naturals Grand Lash Mascara ($24.95): This Italian brand is new to me and is suppose to provide extreme volume and length. This is next on my to open / try mascara list.
~Marsk Mineral Bronzer ($42): I prefer a pressed bronzer, but I am going to work on trying to apply this properly. And by properly I mean so I don’t look like tanning mom. LOL. It’s going to take me some practice, but I think I will get it.
~Geri G. Lip Gloss Creme (Pink) ($18): This gloss is shiny and not sticky, but is a tad too light / bright for me. I think mixed with another gloss or with a lip crayon it will be amazing.
All totaled I came up with a value of $129.95 for the September 2014 Wantable Box. I received this box to review, but would have happily paid $36 for it. It’s my most favorite Wantable box ever. Everything is so perfect and so totally items I love or want to try. They hit it out of the park for me this month! Incredible.

I got that blush too. It was so much better then my last one which I had returned. I’m excited to see what changes come when they start the fitness one. I’ve gotten a couple workout type tanks in my intimates box so I’m assuming they will move over but will similar things take their place or something else? And I might be in the minority but I would like to be able to say sexy vs everyday wear when picking too even if its in the options within since some people don’t want the sexy and I wouldn’t mind it but never seem to really get it.
Ohh, so you want to opt in for the sexy items huh? I want to opt it for giant fuzzy slippers and hoodies. LOL!
I pick up so much of the everyday stuff when I’m out myself and if they send a sexy something every couple of months then I can count it as an M box and it won’t come out of my box budget 😉 LOL
I shouldn’t be reading this blog late at night. I want fall colors and been going back and forth on September Boxy Charm. Then I read this and decided to try Wantables Makeup since I can send it back if I don’t like it. I also renewed my BarkBox, resign up for Paris Hilton and need to get off the internet!

I got the dollskin blush palette in my August Wantable makeup box along with an amazing speckled eyeshadow. I also have swapped for the Jordan Liberty Spellbound nail polish, and I have found that the gold color is gorgeous – for those who request nail polish.
I need to find that gold polish!
This is an amazing box! When I saw the gold mascara I thought it was Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes, which is my favorite. Ever! I hope this one is an equal performer.
I have been going back and forth on which Wantable box to get this month. The makeup box may win out.

Question: all four types of Wantable subscriptions look awesome (hoping the fitness one will be like Fabletics). Would I have to subscribe to all four? Is there a magic subscription thingamabob that I haven’t seen yet where I can do makeup one month, intimates another, and so forth?
You’d have to subscribe to all 4 and then skip months if you wanted to rotate between boxes each month. It’s super easy to skip though and you can do it all online.
