Wet Shave Club, who kindly sent me this box to review, sends a box of wet shaving goodies to your doorstep each month with shaving soaps, double edge razor blades and other shaving goods. Their team scours the country every month for the best razors, blades, soaps, aftershaves, and other stuff to keep your face looking and feeling great.
Wet Shave Club ships via USPS on the day that you order.
I wasn’t overly familiar with Wet Shave Club before I received this box, but I was very impressed by the contents and presentation of the box.
Wet Shave Club doesn’t include an information card, however, it did include a card with some tips on how to get an awesome wet shave. Here is what was included in the box:
~Wet Shave Club Razor & Blades: How fancy is this? B actually had to show me how to put the razor blade on because I didn’t have a clue. Although, it’s not for me so I suppose it doesn’t matter if I know how to use it.
~Brush: This shaving brush is used to help you get a good lather from soaps. I’m guessing that they do not send these monthly because do you actually need a new brush monthly? However, I know they do send a variety of items to subscribers so you’d likely get something else your second month.
~Red Leaf Soap Shave Cube: I am not familiar with this line, but from the looks of the website and the products they offer, I might be soon. They make artisan cosmetics and products in small batches right here in the US. I hope this line shows up in more boxes down the road.
~Whiskey Ink & Lace Cedarwood Aftershave: This is another brand that is new to us. B is so good about using all of his samples up and I don’t think he has any aftershave in his sample bin, so this is totally needed.
~The Legends Alum Matchsticks Aftershave: These are so cool. They are individual “matchsticks” that are used to help stop minor cuts and nicks from bleeding. Awesome idea and the packaging is even better.
I didn’t do a cost break down on Wet Shave Club because a few of the items are Wet Shave Club branded. Wet Shave Club is $29/month, but if you purchase an annual subscription the price reduces to only $19/month.
