You know the drill, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight!
~Not much happening around here this weekend. We had so many fun ideas and then it just turned into relaxing around the house and a little trip to Dave & Busters. It was nice. You know what wasn’t nice? That Michigan State game last night. It was looking good and then the 2nd half happened. Ouch!
~Remember when I posted about the Tory Burch fitbit Bands? I ordered one ages ago (back in July) and it’s now backordered until November. I guess it’s been getting horrible reviews (it falls off, the white pattern is peeling off, etc.) so they are trying to fix the issues. You’d think they would have checked into some of that before they released them. I’ll report on my thoughts in November when it finally arrives.
~I started “Where’d You Go Bernadette” this weekend and am liking it so far. I couldn’t find “Big Little Lies” at Target so I had to order that one online. But the entire Target One Spot was 70% off this weekend and they had tons of candles for 70% off too, so that made up for not having that book.
~B made a few things with out Bitebox recipes for dinner last night. We had “The Burger” with the Bacon Spread and “Baked Beans” with the Rufus Teague Whiskey Maple BBQ Sauce. It was delicious. Dinner tonight is going to be a few more recipes from there. I think it’s Steak and a Cheese Dip and Potatoes? It should be good!
~Is anyone still watching Big Brother? I guess Jeff and Jordan from last season get engaged tonight on the show? I thought they were already engaged, but I guess not? Anyway, I am not even sure who I want to win anymore. I thought I wanted Nicole to win, but that’s not going to happen so now I just don’t know.
~I am thinking about switching up a few subscription boxes this month. Anything new you want to see reviewed this month?

Yes of course I’m watching Big Brother. I guess I’m on the Derrick wagon. he has the whole house snowed and I can’t wait for them to find out what he really does and then watch it back and see how he really was playing the whole house.
So sad I had plans to go to Target when both boys were in school tomorrow and then remembered N has a dentist appointment. LOL so I’m not sure I will have the time to go 🙁 That makes me very sad but maybe I can sneak away tomorrow night if not in the morning.

Big brother has been disappointing this season. I think I like Derrick the best now. Caleb represents my state so I wouldn’t be terribly upset if he won but I doubt it will happen. Frankie has got to go.
Target 70 off, I never seem to find it. I look in aisles and on ends. Perhaps
I should try a different target. I’m always looking for home decor, throws, couch pillows etc.

I really liked Where’d You Go, Bernadette! You can really tell that the author was once a comedy writer for some popular sitcoms – had quite a few LOL moments 🙂

I finally got around to reading The One and Only we got in a PopSugar box a while back. I can’t remember if you said you liked it or not but I didn’t care for it. Big Little Lies sounds interesting so I’ll add it to my list.
Big Brother isn’t exciting at all this season. I hope Victoria wins an HOH competition just to shock everyone in the house.
I liked it. Well, I didn’t like the ending. At all. I felt dirty…
I really liked Nicole and Donny. They both just seem like good people. I have to agree that Derrick has probably played the best game, and as much as I didn’t like Caleb at the beginning, I’m starting to believe he is a real stand-up guy. Theatre geek that I am, I thought I would like Frankie, but I CANNOT STAND HIM! He is just so fake and — though they aren’t showing it on the shows, I have read some of the live feed recaps, and –he’s really pretty mean. He drives me crazy.
Yeah I am not a real fan of Frankie either!
I’d love to see you review a couple of the more unusual quarterly boxes.
I need to look into those a little more.
