Yay! B’s Birchbox Man Limited Edition Box – “Sweat the Small Stuff” arrived over the weekend! As soon as I saw this box last week I knew it would be perfect for B and ordered right away.
If you aren’t familiar, Birchbox Man offers a monthly subscription box for $20/month and sends you monthly deliveries of deluxe grooming and lifestyle samples, tailored to your profile. With Birchbox Man you can try cult brands, up-and-coming lines, and everything in between. This box was one of their Limited Edition offerings and was a separate purchase from the monthly subscription box. The Sweat the Small Stuff box was $54 and is available only while supplies last.
Birchbox shipped this box via USPS Priority Mail and it took only two days to arrive. I ordered it on Thursday when it was released and I received it on Saturday.
As with all Limited Edition Birchbox boxes, they released the contents of the box when they begin selling it, so opening it wasn’t exactly a surprise. However, I didn’t know which color variations we’d receive so that was a surprise.
The Birchbox Man “Sweat the Small Stuff” Limited Edition box included the following supplies to stock your locker with to help keep you motivated:
~Bálla for Men Body Spray ($20): B doesn’t use body spray too often, but this smells great so I doubt he will have any problem using it up. It’s described as being a blend of aloe vera and chamomile with a woody and spicy scent and is really nice without being too heavy.
~Baxter of California Deodorant ($8.15): I think we are a little biased with this brand since our dog is named Baxter, but we love it. The deodorant is aluminum-free and, while it’s not something B would go out and buy (I think $18 for full-sized deodorant is a lot) he loves getting it in a box.
~Bombas Ankle Socks ($9) & Calf Socks ($9): I forget exactly where B received these from (actually they may have been in a Birchbox), but he loves them. He’s had them for months and months and they still look brand new. I actually have some Bombas as well and they are equally fabulous! And they were on Shark Tank a few weeks ago where they snagged a deal with Daymond John.
~KOR Aura Water Bottle (assorted colors) ($11.95): I am not sure how many different colors they sent out, but the green is awesome. It’s made from food-grade silicone and is BPA free. I am guessing B will be hiding this from me so I don’t steal it.
~Quirky Wrapster (assorted colors) ($1.99): We have one (maybe even two) of these already, but we do use them. While we aren’t overly excited by this, I may use it in my bag to keep my charger somewhat organized.
~Under Armour Trance Sackpack (Midnight Navy) ($34.99): I thought this was going to be much thinner and less substantial. But it’s a thick and really nice. L could use this for school or sports or B could use it for the gym.
All totaled I came up with a value of $95.08 for the Birchbox Man “Sweat the Small Stuff” Limited Edition Box. I am not sure where Birchbox came up with the $110 value listed on their site, but I am very happy with this box. It’s totally a “B” box and he’ll use nearly everything in it (and if he doesn’t, I will).

Our box arrived on Saturday also and we got the exact same variations. I liked the last men’s box but I really loved that this one was more lifestyle items and less grooming products.

I just ordered some of these for Christmas gifts after seeing your review. My husband always rolls his eyes at how excited I get when boxes arrive. This should fix that!

He loves the sacpack. He received a black sacpack and a blue Quirky Wrapster. He doesn’t like the body spray. He also received the same mystery pack again.

I just got an email from Birchbox saying they accidentally sent out the sample size version of the Baxter deodorant. They are sending out the full size separately now.
