I received a bunch of boxes again today (it’s been a busy start to the month) and one of those boxes was the most recent Citrus Lane Mystery Box I ordered.

If you aren’t familiar, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription box for babies/kids from 0 to 5 which contains four or more products selected especially for the age and stage of your child.   They also have been offering Mystery Boxes every few weeks for a while now.  This particular mystery box was $29, was aimed at preschool boys aged 3+ and promised a Tree Hopper Match Stack and other items with a retail value of $60+.

The Box

Citrus Lane ships via FedEx Smart Post and took that standard week to arrive.  I remember back a few years ago when they used USPS and I would get my box in just a few days.

First Look

The first look was a great one!  I kind of figured I would have most of the items included in the box since I have been a subscriber so long, so I didn’t mind that I recognized most things.  The Mystery Box didn’t include an information card, however, the following items were included:

~Melissa & Doug Create-A-Craft Race Car ($4.99): These are fun to make and even more fun to paint.  L is awesome at putting them together and both boys love painting them.

~Fresh Feet Wipes for Kids ($3.32): I absolutely love these. One of my biggest pet peeves is dirty feet and these do the trick perfectly.

~Crocodile Creek Watch ($13.99):  We have a watch like this, but I don’t really know exactly what happened to it.  I will probably end up saving this one for WB.

~Creativity for Kids Travel Doodle & Do Activity Book ($7.99): These books are awesome for traveling.  I love that the markers are double sided so there are less to keep track of and I liked that there is a storage case right on the book.

~Melissa & Doug Paint With Water ($4.99): I just bought one of these a few weeks ago at TJ Maxx and we love it.  These are not messy at all and just needs water to make it fun.

~Tree Hopper Match Stacks ($19.99): We have a set of these already (we have the transportation ones) and use them more as flash cards and to talk about the items on them. We will do the same with these.

Tree Hopper Match Stacks

~Crocodile Creek Playground Ball ($8.99): We have a bunch of these and the boys love them.  They last forever and stay looking like new forever too.  Unless  you leave them out in the sun all summer (we may or may not have done this with a few of ours).

All totaled I came up with a value of $64.26 for the Citrus Lane Match Stack Mystery Box.  I thought this was a fabulous box and easily got my $29 worth!

Did you get a Citrus Lane Mystery Box? Which one did you pick and what was in it? All of the Mystery Box options are currently sold out, but I will let you know as soon as more are released!
