The first look was very pretty and very pink! I haven’t gotten a Bonjour Jolie box to review in a while and was excited to check it out.
The October 2014 Bonjour Jolie theme was “Breast Cancer Awareness” and included the following items:
~Pink Leather Wrapped Bracelet ($10): This bracelet was handmade to help support Breast Cancer Awareness. It’s very cute and well made and would make a nice survivor gift.
~Pink Swirl Bubble Bath for the Cause ($15): This is suppose to be available in the Bonjour Jolie shop, but it looks like they are doing some upgrades right now so it’s not active. This bubble bath smells fantastic I’ll probably end up using as both a bubble bath and a shower gel.
~Pharmacopia Everyday Verbena Body Lotion and Facial Soap ($3): This line is brand new to me and just like the bubble bath, it smells fantastic! Everything is USDA Organic and they are Cruelty Free and Vegan as well.
~Sun Tea Cooling Eye Bags ($1.50): Oh I am all over these! While I have been making a big effort to go to bed earlier and get more sleep, my eyes haven’t quite caught up with it yet.
~The Edibles (~$5): The box also included a TON of fabulous “pink” snacks. There was something for everyone in the house. L claimed the Yost Pink Bubble Gum Gourmet Lollipop, WB scored the Surf Sweets, I called the Almond Roca Buttercrunch and B went for the Lovely Candy Company Superfruit Candy Chews! And we have some left over as well.
~natracare tampons: I have never tried organic cotton tampons before, but I so will. They are 100% cotton and were the world’s first fully certified organic cotton tampons!
~Extras!: Every box also includes Flushable Wet Wipes and tylenol packets. I get a headache just thinking about getting a headache, so they will come in very handy!
I didn’t do a full cost breakdown for the October 2014 Bonjour Jolie box, but it was clearly well over the $21/month cost (that includes shipping to the United States). It’s more than just time of the month supplies, it really is a monthly treat!
