October 2014 Dottiebox Mini

Dottiebox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of high quality handmade items for women, from both small businesses and indie brands.  They offer their standard Dottiebox which is $26/month and a Dottiebox Mini subscription, which is $13/month.  I did a review on the October (full-sized) Dottiebox here and now it’s time for the Dottiebox Mini review.

The Box

Dottiebox ships via USPS.  My box was scheduled to arrive on Friday, but it didn’t appear until today (Monday).  Totally not Dottiebox‘s fault though.  I think the Post Office just misplaced it for a bit.

First Look

The first look told me nothing at all.  Nothing!  The box was super light so I knew it wasn’t a paperweight, but beyond that I had no idea.

The Information Card

The October 2014 Dottiebox Mini includes the following items:

~Lisa Leonard Designs Earrings ($24): I can’t find this exact pair online, but I think they are  so pretty.  They have just the right amount of detail for me and are a great size.  I am thrilled with these!

~Dottiebox Bookmarks ($7.99): I think these may be my favorite item from both Dottiebox boxes this month.  They are giant paperclip bookmarks and are just perfect.  Totally love!

Dottiebox Bookmarks

All totaled I came up with a value of $31.99 for the October 2014 Dottiebox Mini.  Including shipping this box is $13, so it was almost triple the value of the box.  I loved this box and I loved how different it was than the full-sized box this month!

Did you get a Dottiebox this month?  What’d you think?  If you are hoping to get this box, you are in luck because it’s still available!!  If you are interested in ordering or just want to learn more, click here.

Disclosure: This complimentary box was received for review purposes. All opinions are my own and no compensation was received.
