The Sweet Box by Orange Glad, is a carefully curated box of sweet snacks which is delivered to your door every month. It includes 5 deluxe gourmet desserts and the Orange Glad Marketplace allows you to place orders for more of the goodies you love!

The Package

Orange Glad ships via USPS Priority Mail.  It typically arrives in the first half of the month and, like with all Priority Mail shipments, it arrives quite quickly.

For more secure shipping, Orange Glad uses the “box in a box” method.  Sometimes there is a cold pack inside of the larger outer box, but this month it was not necessary.

First Look

I just love the Orange Glad packaging!  It’s one of the reasons that I love this box so much. Well, that and all the amazing sweets it contains ;).

The Information Card

The October 2014 Orange Glad box included the following items:

~Lark Fine Foods Burnt Sugar and Fennel Shortbread: Quite interesting.  The information card is beyond correct when they describe it as “unusual”.  I am not a fan of fennel, but I do love shortbread.  However, this just wasn’t for me.

~Viveltre Luscious Red Velvet Marshmallow: Delicious!  I love red velvet everything and these are amazing.  I was checking out their website and it looks like they have a ton of incredible flavors, including salted caramel.

~Mill Fudge Factory Pumpkin Pie Fudge: My kids are obsessed with pumpkin pie (and they love fudge), so I am going to save this for a treat for them tonight.

~Megpies Cinnamon & Brown Sugar: I received Megpies in the September Fancy Food box and loved them.  This isn’t my favorite flavor they offer, but it’s a good one.  And perfect for fall.

~Fine Sconehenge Baking Co. Harvest Carrot Cake: Now this one is a B item.  I’m not big on carrot cake, but B loves it.  He hasn’t seen this one yet, but when he does it will be all over!

As usual I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box (it’s too difficult when you have to figure out single item pricing and shipping would need to be taken into account since many of these items aren’t available locally), but, as usual, I thought it was fabulous!  It had something for everyone this month and I am already anxious to see what they do for the upcoming holidays.
