Pennie Post, who kindly sent me this package to review, is a monthly stationary subscription service. Each month you will receive at least 3 stationary items. More commonly used greeting cards such as thank you notes and birthday cards will be included more often than other greetings. Seasonal cards such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and holiday may also be included during appropriate months.
Pennie Post ships via USPS and took less than a week to arrive to me. They don’t send out tracking information, but it arrives in the first half of the month so you generally know when to expect it.
The October 2014 Pennie Post theme is “Trick or Treat” and contains the following items:
~Hot Dog Wood Card: I would love to know what type of paper this card is made of. It really is quite wood like. I think this card (it’s a flat card – it doesn’t open) is awesome and love how unique it is.
~Trick or Treat Card: This is another really unique card and I already know exactly who I am going to send it to!
~Hey Sweetie Neon Card: I am going to leave this for B one morning to open before he goes to work. We used to do stuff like that for each other and we should totally start again!
Since these cards are designed specifically for Pennie Post, I didn’t do a cost breakdown on them. The subscription itself is $11/month, which works out to about $3.67/item. As usual, these cards are very high quality and are printed on very nice card stock paper.

My sister in law has two dashound dogs that would be a good card for her. I love seeing the Pennie Post reviews
That would be perfect!
It’s actual wood!!
The candy card is so cute. I love all of them this month.
Me too! Did you decide on Disney for this month?
The wood look card is probably real wood, you can buy it paper thin which I think is awesome! Used some for a project once when my fav art supply store was still in business
So cool!
Hi Jennifer, they are right. It is actual wood that is sliced very thin =)
