The Music Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a subscription service that sends music and fun gifts to your front door for only $10 a box. They hand pick emerging artists (keeping in mind your favorite genres) and send you new music every month. Additional items that may be included in your Music Box are CD’s, posters, stickers, wristbands, t-shirts, and much more!
The Music Box ships via USPS and ships at the beginning of the month.
The first look wasn’t very music like, but I thought it was very fun! It was very Halloween like which was perfect for this month.
The October 2014 The Music Box contained the following items:
~Young Ones Album: Oh I really like this album! They are described as Alternative / Pop / Rock and there wasn’t a song on here that I didn’t like. It’s got six songs total and they are all good.
~Top Down Summer (2 Free Song Download): I wasn’t as huge a fan of this one. Then again I am not much of a fan of punk rock. Except for The Stooges. I do like them.
~The Springs (Autograph, Wristband & Free Download): I am generally not a big fan of country music, but I did appreciate the variety in this box. You never know if you will like it till you hear it!
~Chaz Robinson (Free Download): Oh I like Chaz! He has a great voice and is a professional jump roper too! That has nothing to do with his music, but I thought it was cool.
~Extra Goodies: Our extra goodies this month were a little Halloween scarf (which looks fabulous on Baxter) and candy! L was thrilled with the candy and thinks it’s awesome when I include some in his lunch.
I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box, but, as usual, I think it’s a great box for $10! If you have a teenager (or anyone else) who is into music and want to get a box for them, this would be the way to go!
What do you think of The Music Box? If you are interested in subscribing or just want to find out a little more, make sure to check them out!
Professional jump roper? Who is paying someone to jump rope? In what instance do you need to hire someone to jump rope? 😛
I thought maybe he did tricks and stuff??
Just picked this up for my husband. He is going to love it!
