October 2014 The Rockettes Fancy Box

I received a few subscription boxes today, including my October 2014 The Rockettes Fancy Box!

Just in case you aren’t familiar, Fancy, which is $39/month (plus shipping), has a “regular” Fancy Box full of cool goodies and also celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by The Rockettes (which is one of their latest celebrity collaborations) Jennifer Love HewittVerbalKelly RowlandCoco RochaSnoop DoggT-Pain and / or Nicky Hilton. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is one of my favorites), a Culinary Box and Fancy Mystery Boxes.

The Box

Fancy Box ships via FedEx and, as usual, it took two days to arrive.  It shipped on Thursday and I received my box today (on Saturday).

First Look

B grabbed this box off the porch today and was like, umm, is this supposed to be this light?  He seriously thought it was empty.  Not quite, but it a box 1/8 of the size of this one would have done the trick.

There was no information card in my October 2014 (boo!) The Rockettes Fancy Box, but it included the following items:

~EcoDesign Hat Set (~$40): I cannot find this set online anywhere, but I love it!  The hat is very soft and I love the fingerless gloves.  I cannot get enough winter hats and gloves because I constantly lose them.  Love this!

Eco Design Hat Set

~Dcer Temporary Tattoo Set (~$10): Metallic tattoos are totally the thing these days aren’t they?  They are growing on me and I love these.  They are little and really cute.

Dcer Temporary Tattoo Set

~Kitsch Bun Pins ($24): I don’t know that I have ever worn my hair in a high bun and I don’t know that I ever will.  However, it does feel like a very Rockettes / dancer pick, so I totally get it.  I will trade mine or give it to one of my friend’s daughter who dances.

Kitsch Bun Pins

~Lindy Lou Bracelet / Ring ($24): I don’t believe I have ever received an etsy item from Fancy Box before!  I hope this trend continues.  I think this is gorgeous, however, it’s not really my style.  I might try to make it my style though because it’s just so pretty.

Lindy Lou Ring

All totaled I came up with an estimated value of $98 for the October 2014 Rockettes Fancy Box.  While all the contents of the box weren’t totally “me”, they were totally Rockette like and I thought they did a great job with the selections.  Everything was very unique and I loved that there was an etsy item in here!  So cool!

Did you get the new Rockettes Fancy Box?  What’d you think? If you are thinking of ordering this or ANY of the Fancy Boxes, click here and get on it! If you can’t find the Fancy Box you are looking for, I suggest just doing search for “Fancy Box“. It’s much easier than trying to navigate their site and you’ll be able to find all the fancy boxes there, as well as, the Mystery Boxes.
