Today I’m smiling because:
~I had a great time volunteering in L’s classroom yesterday and L came home from school with a fabulous progress report. It was a great day!
~We got partial October 2014 PopSugar Must Have Box spoilers yesterday! We don’t know everything, but it’s a start!
~Kate Mcrae (I have been following her story for years) seems to be doing a bit better. Reading yesterday’s update sure brought a smile to my face!
~Buddy’s face is 100% better! I have zero idea how he got two cuts on it, but it’s all healed now.
~It’s almost Halloween and that means we have so many fun activities coming up! And B doesn’t have school on Friday nights this semester so he can join in on all the fun.
~WB got to go to the Cider Mill with his Nana this week and LOVED feeding the animals!
~Hockey season has started and Michigan State plays today! And the Lions got a new kicker, so that’s also reason to smile.
~I love my neighbors (well most of them)! So awesome to be surrounded by such nice people!

The house on the corner by me sold and they are doing a ton of work in it so I’m curious to see who bought it. LOL Ours houses aren’t that old so not sure why it needs to much work done.
I can’t believe WB is in a heavy coat in that picture. It ended up being almost 80 everyday this week eventhough last weekend they told me it was going to be 70s 🙁
Hockey started here last night and NCState plays today so all is good in the world. Did I tell you the Lions are Ms team of choice? It is nearly impossible to find Lions gear down here so I may have to hit you up for a present 😉
Oh man — cider mills and pumpkin patches/apple orchards! All things I love about fall — unfortunately, our part of NC is lacking 2 of the 3! Bummer!
I wonder if Mich. State will play UMaine?! I may live in the warmer climate now, but will always love my home {college} team!
What do they have in NC? Just pumpkin patches?
There are a few apple orchards, but mainly towards the mountains. We live closer to the ocean … Plenty of pumpkin patches near us, though!
I enjoyed looking at the pictures. The boys had their belt testing today at Tae Kwon Doe. The 15 year old is now a yellow belt. The 6 year old moved up a half belt to what he calls the tiger belt which is an orange belt with a black stripe through it. This is because he is younger and is not expected to learn everything at once. It was wonderful to watch them test especially since my husband is home. He will be traveling a lot in the upcoming months.
Congrats to your boys!!!! I think the “tiger” belt is a cute name!
