I have never received an Ecocentric Mom box before (although I have been tempted by the Mystery Boxes), but I was pleased to discover it was packed full of products.

The Information Card

Ecocentric Mom boxes do not appear to have monthly themes, but my September 2014 “Mom Discovery” box featured the following items:

~PureProC Silk Smoothing Gel / Hydrating Serum (~$20): These items are designed to deliver skin health and anti-aging benefits without harsh chemicals or preservatives.  I am so backlogged on trying new skincare items that I may have to pass this along to a friend to enjoy.

~BioTerra “Z-Z-Z” Sleep Herbs ($4.99): This helps you fall asleep when you just can’t get your brain settled.  I have been falling asleep fast lately (perhaps because by the time I go to bed I am just exhausted), but eventually I will need to use this!

BioTerra “Z-Z-Z” Sleep Herbs

~7th Heaven Natural Skin Masks ($2.99): Love these.  I have tried a few in the past and they make my skin feel great.  I like masks that I can see like these mud masks.  I know the clear ones work, but I feel like these work better.  It’s totally all in my head, but if I have a choice between the two, I am going for the mud one every time.

~eco-ditty Reusable Sandwich / Lunch Bags ($13.99): I am trying my hardest to use reusable containers for L’s lunches and the kids snacks (I have to somehow make up for my paper towel usage), so this is great.

~Arora Creations ‘Bhindi Masala’ Spice Blend: I’ll leave it up to B on what to do with this.  I could smell the spices as soon as I opened this box and knew it was more of a B item.

~Bioray After the Flow Herbal Supplement ($58): I have never heard of this product before, but it “nourishes and strengthens the blood and body after a woman’s menstrual cycle”. It’s got all sorts of health benefits and you just put a few drops in your water a few times a day. I might as well give it a go!

~WooBamboo Slim Handle Bamboo Toothbrush ($4.95): We can always use fresh toothbrushes around here and I’m stealing this one for me.  It’s stylish and cool and totally eco-friendly.

~Annie’s Organic Cheddar Snack Mix Bunnies ($1): We all love these and they are already gone.  Happily this included a coupon so we can buy more.

~Jillian Wright “Breakout Blocker” Serum: This wasn’t enough to really gauge if it worked, but I love the idea of an anti-aging and breakout blocker serum in one.  Maybe a larger size of this will appear in a subscription box down the road.

All totaled I came up with a value of $105.92 for the September 2014 Ecocentric Mom Mom Discovery Box, which is quite amazing considering the $24 price tag on this box!  I am now even more tempted by those Mystery Boxes they offer every once in a while.
