Pretty & Polished, who kindly sent me this to review, is small, family owned company that offers an assortment of nail polishes and other bath & body products. They also offer a Pretty & Polished Beauty Box, which contains exclusive polishes and samples of other items offered by Pretty & Polished. You can expect to receive at least 2 Full Sized Polishes that are 100% exclusive to the beauty box, one mini bottle of a polish in production currently at Pretty & Polished, at least one bath and body product (may either be 1-2 samples or a full sized product) and you also may occasionally receive little extras such as (but not limited to) nail art, nail tools, and other samples in your Beauty Box.

The Information Card

The December 2014 Pretty & Polished Beauty Box included the following items:

~Bright & Merry Nail Polish ($8.50): Now this is a red polish!  It’s candy apple red all the way.  It went on smooth and you could probably get away with one coat, but I liked the way it looked with two better.

~Polar Derby Nail Polish ($8.50): This is an awesome winter polish.  It’s got gorgeous blue, green and purple sparkle in it and I love it.  So perfect! You could probably get away with wearing this alone, but I would put a matte coat or a pale blue under it first.

~Pretty & Polished Exclusive Mini ($4): Can you go wrong with a silver glitter polish? I don’t really think you can.

~In Love With the Farmers Daughter Nail Polish ($8.50): This was the random full-sized polish selection I received.  It’s a purple cream glitter and, according to the website, it will cover your nails in 2-3 coats, but I will probably just use it as a top layer.  It’s an easy way to cover up any mistakes I have made and still will show the pretty color of the polish.

~Candy Cane Sea Salt Foot Soak (Sample): This smells great and I look forward to using it after a long day of holiday shopping!

~Solid Sugar Scrub (Candy Cane) (Sample): Ohh, I love the idea of a solid scrub! It wasn’t too gritty, but you can still “feel” the scrubbiness of it if you know what I mean.  I love it!

~Pretty & Polish Extra Goodies: The box also includes toe nail separators, a nail buffer and  a packet of nail art (snowmen and snowflakes)!  I wasn’t expecting it and thought it was fabulous.

Pretty & Polish Extra Goodies

I didn’t have prices for everything in the December 2014 Pretty & Polished, so I couldn’t do a full cost breakdown.  But the three full-sized polishes I received alone would cost $25.50, so it’s pretty sure that the $22/month cost is a deal!

What do you think of Pretty & Polished?  If you are interested in ordering or just want to learn more, head on over to their site and check them out!
