November 2014 Barkbox
November 2014 Barkbox

Baxter and Buddy have been completely spoiled this month already and the trend continued yesterday with the arrival of their November 2014 BarkBox!

If you aren’t familiar, BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and hygiene products that have been hand selected and approved by Scout (the dog), head product tester for BarkBox. Boxes can be customized based on the size of your pet (I get the Small box for the furries) and you can add an additional toy to your box for an extra $9/month.We have been getting BarkBox for ages and have always been satisfied with them.

The Box

BarkBox ships via DHL Global Mail (it starts out with DHL and is delivered by USPS) and took about a week to arrive to me.

First Look

I thought I knew what the theme was as soon as I opened up the box.   Everything looked cute and the dogs were trying to sniff the snacks as I was trying to take this picture!

The Information Card

The November 2014 BarkBox celebrates the joys of cooking with your beloved sous chef (your dog) and included the following items:

~Swag Company Cornucopia ($11): OMG stop it.  I had no idea that there was even a cornucopia dog toy.  This is awesome.  I think the kids like it more than the dogs, but I am not too sure the dogs realize it’s theirs yet.  It’s very well made and could seriously double as a kids toy.

~Plato EOS Turkey & Sweet Potato Treats ($4.99): It looks like Baxter and Buddy will be snacking well this month.  They sampled these this morning and appeared to like them a lot.

~Safemade Apawthecary Cleaning Wipes ($4): You can hook these in your keychain (or leash handle I guess) so you can clean your dogs paws whenever you need to.

~Petmate Chef Heggies ($10): I am cracking up.  This little guy is a trip.  WB thinks it’s adorable and Buddy wants to rip it’s head off.  A good toy for sure.

~Caru Pet Food Company Beef Stew ($6): On this product’s website it states that it tastes just like real stew.  I am not going to test that out myself and I doubt my dogs will delay the information if I make them a can of stew from Kroger so I will take their word on this one!

All totaled I came up with a value of $35.99 for the November 2014 BarkBox.  I thought this box was super cute and beyond perfect for this month! I am hoping that next month is just as good and I am thinking it will be with the holidays.
