November 2014 GLOSSYBOX

GLOSSYBOX, who kindly sent me this sneak peek box to review (I have a subscription of my own which I pay for as well), is a monthly beauty subscription box.  It costs $21/month and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door. GLOSSYBOX does sometimes have some issues with late shipping but they put typically put together amazing boxes that far exceed the cost so I don’t mind.

The Box

GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally arrives closer to the end of the month.  This was a review box so I received it a bit earlier than normal.

The GLOSSYBOX

I knew what two of the items in this box where, but I wasn’t sure about the other three.  And as usual, I love the GLOSSYBOX box itself.  So fancy!

First Look

Uh-oh!  I spied a little bit of trouble on this one right away. Luckily it didn’t look too bad though, so that was good.

The Information Card

The November 2014 GLOSSYBOX included the following items:

~Kneipp Herbal Bath: Balancing in Lavender ($5.50): The essential oils in this are designed to help calm nervousness and combat mental fatigue.  It also is said to enhance overall mood and well being.  I should take a bath with this every night!

Kneipp Herbal Bath: Balancing in Lavender

~12 Benefits Instant Healthy Hair Treatment ($5): Great stuff!  It’s a leave in treatment that basically does everything.  Well, it does 12 things.  Get it?  12 Benefits!  Ha!  Anyway, it’s great and I could see this being a staple item.

~So Susan Cosmetics Universal Blush ($23.29): My gorgeous blush must have cracked during shipping.  Luckily it was sealed in plastic, so there was no way for it to open and spill all over the box!  Since this was a review box and since I will be getting the box I subscribe with this blush in it later on in the month, I didn’t contact them to replace it.  This is a universally flattering shade and has pink kaolin clay (not really sure what exactly that is) which adapts to the wearer’s skin tone for a one-of-a kind flush.  So cool!

~OPI Nail Lacquer in Pink Inside the GLOSSYBOX ($9.50): Gorgeous!  This polish with a little silver glitter is going to be amazing!  I am also a big fan of collaboration / special edition polishes, so this is awesome for that reason as well.

~Juice Beauty Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer ($11.25): I have gotten this in subscription boxes in the past and have always used (and liked it), but I don’t know if I have used it consistently enough to really see all of its benefits.  Maybe I will this time!

All totaled I came up with a value of $54.54 for the November 2014 GLOSSYBOX.  It wasn’t my favorite box from them, but I did love that blush (broken and all) and I am always happy to get a nail polish!
