Googaro, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box for babies 0-3 years of age. Each month Googaro sends selects mom-approved items for you and your baby straight to your door. You’ll receive some of their favorite finds including toys, books, snacks, and household products.
Googaro ships via DHL Global Mail and took over a week to arrive. As usual, sometimes DHL is fast and sometimes it’s not. I am guessing with the holidays and the increased mail volume, it will be slow until after the new year.
I hadn’t seen any spoilers for this box so opening it up was a complete surprise. I thought it was a fabulous first look though and I was hoping that one of the items was what I thought it was!
The November 2014 Googaro Box for a 2-3 Boy contained the following items:
~Sesame Street P is for Potty Book ($4.79): Ahh, potty training! Sometimes WB is interested, sometimes not so much. I think we’ll get more serious about it after the new year. But he does seem to be interested in Elmo using the potty, so that’s good!
~Skiphop Dirty Duds ($10.99): I cannot find this online which is kind of driving me crazy! It’s designed to collect your little ones dirty clothes while traveling. It’s on the small size though, so I think it would only work for an overnight or weekend trip. But it will also work for carrying an extra set of clothes, wet clothes, wet swim trunks, etc.
~Skiphop Lunch Kit ($9): I have been wanting one of these (for WB of course) ever since they came out and here it is! I absolutely love it and think it is so adorable. I am going to pack WB’s lunch in this for a little indoor picnic this week!
~Plantoys Number Sign Language Game ($20): These are awesome. Totally awesome. WB is really into numbers right now and is always counting and lining things up. Sometimes he gets it right, sometimes not. I love that it shows the numbers in three different ways (American Sign Language, the numerals and dots) and know that this is something I will save for WB and L’s kids!
All totaled I came up with a value of $44.78 for the November 2014 Googaro box. I was very happy with this box and will use every single item in it! I thought it was well curated and perfect for WB’s age!
