My November 2014 ipsy arrived over the weekend and it’s always fun to see that pink envelope in the mail!

If you aren’t familiar, ipsy is $10/month and sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost) and I am always amazed at how they do it.

The Bag

ipsy ships via DHL Global Mail and took just under a week to arrive.  Sometimes it just takes a few days and sometimes it’s nearly two weeks.  You just never know with DHL!

First Look

ipsy posts “Glam Rooms” on the 10th of the month so you can peek and find out what you are getting. The past few months they have also been doing early sneak peeks (you have to share on Facebook though) around the 5th of so of the month.  I do love those extra early looks!

The Card

The November 2014 ipsy theme is “Girl Meets Glitter” and included the following items to give you a little sparkle wherever you go:

~Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Eye Base (Submissive) ($14): I wasn’t overly excited when I saw this in my Glam Room, but I really liked it in person.  The color is fabulous and is exactly what I would have picked for myself.

~Elizabeth Mott you’re so FINE Eyeliner ($17.99): I think the packaging on this is awesome, but I am not a fan of eyeliner as you know.  I will pass this one along to a friend.

~J. Cat Beauty Wonder Lip Paint ($4.99): This is a bit too much color for me personally.  I might be able to might be able to mix it with something to make it work, but I don’t know.  This may just be a miss.

~Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder + Mini Fan Brush (~$20): I couldn’t find an exact price on this so I had to estimate.  Anyway, this is fabulous. I don’t think I have ever gotten Laura Mercier in a subscription box before and it just feels so fancy.  Send us all more ipsy!!

~Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Volume Shine Hairspray ($1.38): I can always use a travel sized hairspray.  I thought it worked well without weighing my hair down and I liked the smell.

~The Bag: Oh, I love the bag this month!  It’s glittery and sparkly and just a cute bag.  This is for sure one I will be keeping.

The Bag

All totaled I came up with an (estimated) value of $58.36 for my November 2014 ipsy Glam Bag.  Even if I overestimated the Laura Mercier, that is still a crazy valuable bag for only $10!  To say I am happy would be an understatement.  Totally a great ipsy this month for me.
