November 2014 Mission Cute

MissionCute, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of cute stuff, but with a mission. Each MissionCute box comes with at least 2 items made by small-but-mighty artisans and local businesses and each month they partner with a different nonprofit to help promote their mission.  50% of the net proceeds of each box are donated to the chosen (you can vote on it) monthly nonprofit (this month is Make-A-Wish) and MissionCute also sponsors and works on a service project each month in their community.

The Box

MissionCute ships via USPS and took just a few days to arrive to me.  Boxes ship on the 15th of the month. If you subscribe before the 10th of the month you will receive that month’s box.  If you subscribe after the 10th of the month, your subscription will start the following month.

First Look

I have totally been loving MissionCute boxes and I am looking more and more forward to seeing what they do every month.  They really do send cute stuff!

The Information Card

The November 2014 MissionCute partner is “Make-A-Wish” and 50% this month’s proceeds will be donated to them.  Make-A-Wish grants the wishes children in the United States who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition.  Here is what the box included:

~Give Thanks Print ($12): I have this up in my office already!  I popped it in the frame I got from the Neiman Marcus PopSugar box and it’s a great little daily reminder.

Give Thanks Print

~MissionCute Mug ($19.50): Not only is this mug cute, it’s huge!  Don’t tell anyone, but I sometimes like to drink wine out of mugs, so this rocks.

~Curly Girl Recipe Cards ($12): How adorable are these?  They are probably the cutest recipe cards I have ever seen!  I will use them to share my (well my Aunt’s) yummy chocolate chip cookie recipe or something along those lines.

~Gold Circle Bar Necklace:  Imagine the circle of this closer to your neck and then the bar hanging down a bit lower.  I took this picture before I tried it on and didn’t really “get” it.  It all makes sense now and I love it.

~Naiad Holiday Whipped Soap ($5.50): Totally 100% fantastic.  This smells amazing and made my skin so soft.  And did I mention it smelled good?  I was checking out their etsy shop and I want to try all their other scents right away!

All totaled I came up with a value of $71 for the November 2014 MissionCute box and I loved it.  I absolutely loved it.  I think they do a great job with this box and I love the mixture of items they include.

What do you think of MissionCute? If you are interested in subscribing (I believe they have a wait list) or just want to check out more / look at previous boxes, click here.  They have also just launched a Mini Mission Cute box for $20/month which consists of 2-3 hang-curated items which may be another option if you aren’t ready to try the full box!

Disclosure: This complimentary box was sent for review purposes. As always, all opinions are my own and no compensation was received.
