November 2014 Nicholas Black Box

Nicholas Black Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly men’s lifestyle subscription box. Each month you will be mailed a box containing 5 lifestyle and grooming samples from an array of categories. These samples will be from well-known brands and some new to the market brands.

The Box

Nicholas Black Box ships via USPS and all boxes are shipped by the 21st of the month.

First Look

I like that Nicholas Black Box includes products from a variety of categories and I was hoping that this month was the same.

The Information Card

The November 2014 Nicholas Black Box included the following items:

~Malin+Goetz Lime Bar Soap ($10): B and I both love this brand.  I don’t think there is a product from them that I don’t like.  This soap smells great and I kind of want to try and steal it from B.  Oh, this is a weird question, but do you share bar soap?  I mean I know people do for their hands, but what about otherwise?

Malin+Goetz Lime Bar Soap

~Dull Dog Skin Care Original Moisturizer ($4.24): This is a new brand for both B and I, but it looks promising.  It’s packed with a ton of essential oils, green tea, vitamin E, etc. to hydrate skin.

~The Art of Shaving Kit (~$5): Sadly B hasn’t shaved in like a week in honor of Movember. I don’t love this, but it’s only for a month so I can deal. But I will love it when he shaves it and is able to use this!

The Art of Shaving Kit

~Schick Hydro 5 (~$5): Well, since B isn’t shaving this month, this one actually may end up being mine.  Plus he uses razors / blades from Dollar Shave Club most of the time.

Schick Hydro 5

~Jelly Belly Extreme Sport Beans ($1.50): Did you know that Jelly Belly made a sport jelly bean?  Because I certainly did not.  These will be awesome for B when he has drill and isn’t getting a ton of sleep.

Jelly Belly Extreme Sport Beans

All totaled I came up with a value of $25.74 for the November 2014 Nicholas Black Box. Not quite as valuable as last month, but everything is very useful and included some new brands and products and some old favorites as well.

What do you think of Nicholas Black Box?   Right now Nicholas Black Box is offering a “BOGO 50% off” deal where you buy your first box for $20 and get your second for only $9.98!  If you want to take advantage of that deal use this link and get signed up!
