Petit Vour, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box of cruelty-free beauty products, hand-picked from businesses that align quality with progressive standards.  Boxes are $15/month and they do an excellent job making sure that the value well exceeds the cost.

I actually wasn’t even expecting Petit Vour yesterday when it arrived.  I guess I didn’t realize it was already past the 15th of the month and that it would be arriving!  So it’s fair to say that I had no idea what this box would include.

The Information Card

The November 2014 Petit Vour box theme was “Natural Givers” and was a collaboration with The Little Foxes, which is a compassionate lifestyle blog.  It included the following luxury boutique brands that outshine conventional brands in a myriad of ways:

~Au Naturale Creme Eye Shadow + Creme Concealer (~$15): There were no sizes listed on these so I had to estimated the price.  I love the color shadow I received (it’s in the tube that looks like mascara).  It’s called Palma and is a beautiful beige shimmer. The concealer is also nice (it’s Beige) and blended very smoothly and gave a nice amount of coverage.

~Caru Skincare Co. Rose Facial Serum (~$8): I do love facial serums and oils, but I am not sold on the scent of this one.  The rose scent may be a little too strong for me though.

~Earthbody Scared Skincare Dream Body Oil ($5.75): The scent on this is different, but I think I like it. It felt very fancy and luxurious.

~French Girl Organics Lip Tint ($11): This color is gorgeous!  It’s a organic and can be worn alone or with another color on top of it.

All totaled I came up with an estimated value of $39.75 for the November 2014 Petit Vour. This box had lots of new-to-me products in it which I always appreciate. It is fun getting introduced to new products and brands!

I’m excited for my box! Also, I have to say, I had an issue with my box last month and Petit Vour dealt with it so easily and were always pleasant and friendly. I love good customer service!

I have also heard this about their customer service!

This box looks like a dud to me. I still haven’t finished all the previous bottles of oil they have sent, and now there are two new ones in the same box. I am also subscribed twice, so technically I’ll be receiving 4 new bottles of oil. ARgh.. Oh well, I love Petit Vour & love getting to try all these new things, so I can live with an occasional dud. I hope December is much better.

They do seem to send a lot of oils!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Jennifer! Always such a pleasure to read your feedback and check out your beautiful photos. We have been sending a lot of oils and lip products and will be trying to vary it up more over the next 6 months. XO, PV

Thanks for your review! I just signed up for petit vour. I was a subscriber to birchbox for a long time but found out that they don’t discriminate against companies that use animal testing!! So I switched and I’m glad I found a cruelty free company to support. All of your samples look lovely, and I can’t wait to try mine!

Love the French Girl Organics Lip Tint! I never would have picked this color (Cerise) out if I saw it in a store, but when I tried it on I love love loved it! Really enjoying Petit Vour!
