Treat A Dog, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly box of goodies and toys for dogs. Subscribers receive a box once a month which features 4 to 7 hand picked items such as dog treats, hygiene products, toys, care items, essentials and more!
Treat A Dog ships on the 15th of the each month via USPS. If you sign up before the the 10th of each month you will receive your Treat A Dog box that month! If you sign up after the 10th of the month you will receive your first box the following month.
I loved this first look! The box was packed full and I was quite impressed with this first impression.
The Treat A Dog information card doesn’t list the products in the box, but the following items were included:
~Spot Bumpskins Plush Dog Toy ($6.56): Super cute and I like that it’s a flat toy so there won’t ever be a stuffing explosion! It takes the boys a long time to destroy a toy, but once they do it’s a complete mess.
~Spot Long Ear Tuggees (~$7): Doesn’t this remind you of a baby toy? With the ears as the teething toy? The dogs and the kids have already been playing tug-of-war with it and having a great time!
~Zuke’s Lil’ Links Dog Treats ($7.99): The boys loved these. They ate them super quickly and then tried to talk me into giving them more.
~Primal Freeze Dried Turkey Liver Munchies ($5.89): I am going to save these for my brother’s dogs who will happily enjoy them!
~Merrick Power Bites ($5.23): Turducken! For dogs! Ha! I love it. I am going to give these to the dogs for a little Thanksgiving treat. These are exactly the kind of treats they like and I like that they are made in the USA.
~Earthbath Grooming Wipes (~$1): I have no idea what Baxter and Buddy do outside, but they sometimes come back smelling quite wild. LOL! The colder weather makes it a bit better, but these will be very nice.
~Red Barn Naturals Bully Stick (~$5): I don’t know where the dogs have taken this to or who is in control of it right now, but they love it!
~Red Barn Naturals Crunchy Bully Burgers ($3.58): I haven’t broken these out for the dogs yet and I am thinking I may end up giving these to my brother’s dogs to enjoy as well. They are made in the USA with real bully sticks.
All totaled I came up with a value of $42.25 for the November 2014 Treat A Dog box! I was impressed with the value of this one (it’s $28/month) and considering that you can get your first box for 50% off (aka $14), that is a steal!
