True Drool, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box for the dogs. It’s designed for the “over 40 crowd, over 40 pounds that is”. Boxes contain 4-7 toy/treat items for your large active breed dog to wag, wiggle and drool over.
True Drool ships via USPS around the 15th of the month. If you order by the 7th of the month your box will ship that month. If you order after the 7th, your box will ship the following month.
The box was fairly heavy and while I couldn’t see too much from the first look, the boys could certainly smell something in it because they were trying to get their noses in the box as I was taking pictures!
True Drool doesn’t include an information card, but the following items were in the box:
~EOS Turkey & Sweet Potato Treats ($4.99): The dogs love these and go wild for them. Totally a Thanksgiving item for the boys!
~Big Sky Antler Chews ($20.89): I have not given this to the dogs yet, but I know there is a going to be a battle for it. They are going to love it.
~Merrick Turducken Treats ($5.99): My dogs got a bag of these earlier in the month, so I am going to give these to my brothers dogs. They are all-natural, grain-free and are oven baked with real chicken, turkey and duck.
~All Natural Dog Chewz – Large Traches ($3.79): This sounds super gross, but oh how my dogs love it. We cracked it in half and they have each been chewing on their half for the past few days. It’s a huge hit!
~Thanksgiving Day Dinner Turkey Sausage Treat ($1.29/each): Baxter and Buddy are going to have such a good Thanksgiving! All these special treats! This the made from real turkey sausage and Granny Smith Apples, carrots, peas, and oatmeal. I suspect they will gobble it up in about two seconds.
All totaled I came up with a value of $38.24 for the November 2014 True Drool box! I used online prices, but if you tried to get some of these items in a store they would likely cost more. The dogs loved this box and so did I!
