Bespoke Post Black Box

My Black Friday Bespoke Post Black Box arrived yesterday!  It was a free gift (on Black Friday only) with any purchase (subscription box or shop) of $45+ and promised to have a value of at least $45. Never one to pass up a mystery box, I went for it!

In case you aren’t familiar with them, Bespoke Post delivers fresh and interesting lifestyle brands and products to men. Each month, you’ll get to choose from their limited-edition boxes filled with an array of products built around a central, unique theme. Don’t want one that month? Just skip the month (you can opt out during the first 5 days of the month) and you won’t be charged.

The Box

The Black Box was much smaller than I had anticipated.  I took advantage of their Black Box deal last year as well, but that one shipped in a regular Bespoke Post box.  This box was much cooler and fancier!

First Look

The box was heavy and I could see a bit of what was inside, but not too much. I was hoping it had some good stuff that I could use for stocking stuffers for B.

The Information Card

This year’s Bespoke Post Black Box even included an information card!  Here is what this limited-edition box of goods contained:

~Alfred Lane Solid Cologne ($17.95): This smells SO incredible.  Love love love.  I personally love solid cologne and I think B will too.  It’s easy to travel with and you could even throw it in your coat pocket if you want.  Great item.

~Buttercube Blackstrap Bitters ($10): B just finished making his bitters from his October Bespoke Post box a week or two ago, but he’ll eventually get around to these too.

~Line of Trade Leather Cord Carry: I showed this to B (so much for it being a stocking stuffer) because I wanted to see if he knew what it was.  He had no idea at all.  I knew, but only because I read the card.  It’s a cord holder.  It snaps together and you can wrap your headphones, USB charger, etc. so it doesn’t end up a jumbled mess.

~Stolen Riches Dress Laces ($16): I do love these, but B still doesn’t have any tie dress shoes.  I definitely need to remember that he needs to get some when he needs new work shoes so he can wear all the cool laces he gets.

Stolen Riches Dress Laces

~Marvis Toothpaste ($3.57): Every time B sees this toothpaste (in a store, when it comes in a subscription box, etc.) he remarks on how much he likes it.  This is a great size for traveling and he’ll love it.

~$10 Off $75 Birchbox Gift Card: Since you do have to spend money to use this, I won’t include it in the value of the box.  But their Shop has great items, so I will for sure be using this.

~Dr. Squatch Gold Moss Soap ($6): This item wasn’t on the information card, but I am assuming everyone got it?  Or maybe everyone just got one additional item and mine happened to be soap?  My brother is getting his Black Box this week so I will find out what was included in his and I’ll repot back.

All totaled I came up with a value of $53.52 for the Bespoke Post Black Box deal! Considering that doesn’t even include the cord keeper or the $10 coupon code, and the fact that I got it free with my purchase, this was an excellent deal!

Sadly this deal is now over, but if you are interested in picking up a subscription to their monthly box (for you or for a gift), you can head over to their site and use the coupon code “RESCUE” to save 30% off your first box!
