Dottiebox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a box curated every month for women. They feature high quality handmade items, small businesses, and indie brands. They offer their standard Dottiebox which is $26/month and a Dottiebox Mini subscription, which is $13/month. This review is for the full-sized Dottiebox, but the Dottiebox Mini review will come later on in the month.
Dottiebox ships their full-size boxes at the beginning of the month, while the mini boxes ship more towards the middle of the month. Boxes always ship via USPS and arrive to me quite quickly.
I was kind of nervous when I opened this box up because I dropped it when I was bringing in it the house. OOPS. Turns out I had nothing to worry about and all was well!
The December 2014 Dottiebox contained the following items:
~Sundrop Jewelry Pendant Necklace ($30): Sundrop Jewelry pieces are made from stained glass and recycled bottles. Oh, and sunshine (and a giant magnifying glass)! I was read all about them online last night and was fascinated in the process. How cool is that?
~Spoonlily Designs Holiday Print ($9): Seriously, let it snow! LOL! I have this in a frame in my office in already in hopes it will inspire mother nature. I want snow!
~Dinglewood Design and Press Gift Tags ($2): These would work for Christmas or Valentine’s Day or pretty much anything! Very cute and they really do dress up a gift nicely!
~ScentXpressions Tealights ($6.49): When I opened up the box I wondered what these were doing in my Dottiebox. I was so impressed by the packaging and the quality of them that I seriously thought they were from some giant brand! Oh and I should mention that they smell awesome too.
All totaled I came up with a value of $47.49 for the December 2014 Dottiebox. I thought the variety on this one was fantastic and I will use / wear everything in here! As usual Dottiebox put together a great box!
