GLOSSYBOX, who kindly sent me this sneak peek box to review (I have a subscription of my own which I pay for as well), is a monthly beauty subscription box. It costs $21/month and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door. GLOSSYBOX does sometimes have some issues with late shipping but they put typically put together amazing boxes that far exceed the cost so I don’t mind.
GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally arrives closer to the end of the month. This was a review box so I received it a bit earlier than normal, but I tend to get my other box the last week of the month or so.
The sneak peek e-mails GLOSSYBOX sent out for this box showed the actual box itself which made me even more excited to get my box this month. I love when they do specially designed boxes and this is one of my favorites.
The inside of the box also matched the specially designed outer box. Everything was neatly packaged and the box was packed full.
The December 2014 GLOSSYBOX contained the following items:
~Ciate Mini Paint Pot in All Aglow ($8): This polish is fantastic. I love that it’s tiny and I love that it has little specks of red in it to give it a little “pop”. This plus a deep red for the holidays is going to be absolutely gorgeous.
~TONI&GUY Prep: Leave-In Conditioner Manageability & Frizz Control ($17): This product helps to tame frizz and improve manageability. I could totally use this on my hair, but I am going to give it to my cousins when they are in town this weekend. They have naturally curly hair and will make good use of this.
~Bellepiere Cosmetics Mineral Lipstick in Burlesque ($19.99): Even I (a non-lipstick wearer) opened this up and thought the color was awesome. It’s described as a “bright fuchsia”, but I think it’s deeper than that and more wearable than you’d think a fuchsia lipstick would be.
~Nuxe Masque Creme Fraiche De Beaute ($32): This mask is easily my favorite item in the box. It smells good and provides up to 24 hours of intensive relief from winter weather. It’s fairly mild here today (and should be through the weekend), but we’ll be back to nasty weather with icky winds here soon enough and this will be perfect.
~Rituals Cosmetics Miracle Scrub in Ginseng & Ginkgo Biloba ($17): It’s a good thing I read card on this because it’s a hand scrub not a face scrub like I originally thought. I am guessing that would not have been good! This is another fantastic winter item and left my hand feeling soft and smooth.
All totaled I came up with a value of $93.99 for the December 2014 GLOSSYBOX and I loved this box. Loved it. It’s $21/month, so this box has a value of more than 4x the cost which is awesome. It introduced me to a few new brands and had a few old favorites. Fantastic box!

I can’t wait to get mine! The only thing I don’t like recently are the huge info cards…i like to save them to keep track of the products I tested. The new cards just take too much space..I just wish they go back to the previous size…other than that, I love Glossybox :). Thanks for the review!
This looks like a great box! I’m excited to get mine (whenever that is–my November box didn’t arrive until Dec. 2!)
I like the items in the box. Too bad they don’t offer one time boxes because I would purchase this box.
