Zoobean, who kindly sent me this package to review, is a monthly subscription service which helps you build your individual child’s literacy with remarkable children’s books and apps selected just for him or her. You are able to select between a monthly book delivery service (from $9.99/month) that gives you one hardcover or paperback book each month, along with an app recommendation + literacy guides or a digital service option (from $2.99/month) and receive weekly personalized app + book recommendations that come with literacy guides.
This selection is for WB who is 2.5 years old. I also received a book for L (he’s 6) which you can check out here.
The Book
Zoobean ships via USPS Media Mail and took just about a week to arrive to me.
WB’s book selection this month was The Rain Train (which is selling for $12.09 on Amazon right now). This book is totally awesome for WB who is obsessed with trains. I didn’t get much of a chance to actually read the book because WB pretty much read it for me. “Da Train” “It raining” “In Tunnel” “See da train”! Loved it!
The App
WB’s Ap selection this month was The Kissing Hand. We love this book and I cannot believe we don’t have this app. We’ll for sure be getting this one!
The Zoobean plan I received is $16.95, which includes the monthly hardcover book + the digital reading guide + the app selection and app companion. If you are interested in just the Digital Service, it’s $2.99/month and you will receive a weekly email that includes an expert created Reading Guide or App Companion along with a book or app recommendation. And then you can pick up the book at the bookstore or borrow it from your local library!
