Today I’m smiling because:

~The weather rocks! It was nearly 50 degrees here yesterday and was perfectly sunny and amazing. The kids got to go outside and play with their new toys and get some fresh air all at once. Fabulous!

~This was the result of playing outside yesterday. I laugh every time I see it. “I didn’t know I would get stuck….” Ha! I love it!

~We have big plans to go through the toys in the playroom and the basement this weekend and donate the ones they don’t play with anymore.  And I cannot wait!

~The after-Christmas clearance items at Target (and Kroger) are amazing this year!  I am hoping there are still some EOS lip balms, Starbucks coffee and some good goodie bag stuff left when tit hits 70% / 90% off!

~No matter what happens on Sunday, the Lions are going to the playoffs!  I’d smile bigger if they won on Sunday though ;).

~My mom and I are going to the casino this weekend!

~I finally got my pictures cleared off my phone and my apps all updated.  It’s been months and months since I have done that!  Feels good!

That’s it from here!  What’s got you smiling today?

Who do you usually donate toys to? I have a hard time finding organizations that will take toys (too nervous about recalls or lead paint)

I took them to the Salvation Army. I didn’t have any issues.

We need to clean out the toys big time. I’ve been selling/donating things here and there as the boys give them to me but we need to do a big purge. We didn’t get anything huge for Christmas but just lots of smaller things that need home. Now if I can get them to give up the play kitchen I’d have a wall space to make a desk like yours 😉

Santa tried to really cute down on the number of items this year! He knows we SO do not need more toys!

Oh Santa did really good this year with limiting toys even though it was really hard. LOL We still have some toddler type toys that we need to clear out but my helpers always want to keep them. 🙁 It may have to be a me time activity one day.
