My Birchbox Fresh Start Limited Edition Box arrived yesterday. I have trouble resisting Limited Edition boxes and Birchbox always has such great ones.
If you haven’t heard about it yet, the Birchbox Fresh Start Box is $42 and is a one-time purchase Limited Edition box. It’s totally separate from the $10 monthly subscription box and was just released a few days ago.
There are many things I love about Birchbox, but one of them is there extremely fast Shop shipping. I ordered this box on the 13th and it arrived just a few days later via USPS.
Birchbox always releases the contents of their Limited Edition boxes when they go on sale so while opening them isn’t a surprise, it is always fun. The boxes are always brightly colored with fun patterns and designs.
The Birchbox Fresh Start Limited Edition Box includes healthy picks to refresh your skin, body and hair, plus stylish wellness items to motivate you through early morning sweat-sessions and marathon-length workdays. Here is what was inside:
~Bombas Ankle Socks ($9): I love Bombas socks! I have received them in a boxes other boxes and B has actually gotten some in his Men’s Birchbox boxes. They are great socks and we both are big fans. I should also mention that Bombas donates ones pair of socks for every pair sold. Oh and that they were on Shark Tank and got a deal with Daymond John.
~Juice Beauty® GREEN APPLE™ Age Defy Hand Cream ($12): This is my favorite of all the products in the Juice Beauty line. This cream works great and it smells amazing.
~KOR Water AURA Water Bottle ($9.95): B actually received a Kor water bottle in a Men’s Limited Edition Birchbox a few months back which I have now stolen. This one is a tad smaller, but it’s pink so I like it even better (the other one we have is blue). I can’t figure out what it is about it that I like about this bottle so much, but it’s great.
~FIG+YARROW Healing Salve ($5.88): This salve can be used for just about anything. From super dry patches to razor burn, this works.
~ILIA Lip Gloss (The Butterfly And I) ($24): This gloss is made from coconut oil and shea butter. The color is fantastic and it’s not sticky at all.
~Mullein & Sparrow Pink Himalayan Bath Salts (~$6): I was a little taken aback by how strong these salts smelled, but it wasn’t a bad smell. Just a strong floral. I think a little of these will go a long way.
~Vapour Organic Beauty Aura Multi-Use Blush (Courtesan) ($22.50): Love this! It’s a multi-use pigment for your cheeks, lips and eyes. The color is perfect and it blends in well.
~yarok FEED YOUR ENDS Leave-In Conditioner ($9.90): I can’t remember what box I have received this in (maybe Yuzen?), but I have some and it’s great. I love that it’s a leave-in product and it makes your hair smell great!
All totaled I came up with an estimated value of $99.23 for the Birchbox Fresh Start Limited Edition Box. The website shows a value of $107, but I estimated a few items which likely accounts for the variance. I thought this was a fantastic limited edition box and it was a great deal.
