Beauty Joy, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a brand new beauty / jewelry subscription box. Each month you will receive one hand-curated jewelry item, one full size beauty item, and 2-3 deluxe samples for only $15!
Beauty Joy ships via USPS on the 15th of the month.
Everything arrived neatly packaged and looked great. I received their first ever box in November and I was anxious to see how current boxes were looking.
The January 2015 Beauty Joy Box theme was “Celebration Time” and was a celebration of Beauty Joy‘s third box. Here is what it included:
~Silvertone Chunky Bead and Pearl Bracelet ($10): I love this! I actually received a very similar ring from Mission Cute a few months ago that my sister-in-law really likes, so I am going to give both to her. She will be thrilled!
~Laura Geller Baked Eye Pie Shadow Trio in Blueberry Muffin ($36): This trio is great! It’s huge and is going to last for ages. I really like the browns in it and while I won’t use it quite as often, the blue is fun too.
~Korres Cherry Lip Gloss Mini ($6): I can’t find this mini size for sale online, so I used the price on the information card. It’s a nice gloss and isn’t sticky or at all.
~Femme Couture Get Luminous Luminizer ($8.39): I found that a little of this goes a long way. I think mixing it with your regular lotion is the way to go on this! Otherwise it’s just too much.
All totaled I came up with a value of $60.39 for the January 2015 Beauty Joy box. For $15/month, I am quite impressed with the box they put together!

I was going to try this box but I can’t get your code to work!
Are there body boxes out there that don’t do makeup? I never wear makeup, but I like getting nice soaps, lotions, etc. I also like the jewelry aspect of this one, and the price point is great, but I don’t want a bunch of makeup I’m not going to use every month.

Thank you!
I like this concept very much. I just wish you could set preferences for your jewelry! I love Korres–that’s a great inclusion! I’ve never used Laura Geller before but I’ve always been curious about baked eye shadows since they’re suppose to be an awesome wet/dry formula.
Totally tangent thought: does it drive anyone else nuts when shadows aren’t separated? I feel like eventually, you end up getting two colors on your brush or you’re weirdly trying to avoid the edges when you dip the brush into the pan. LOL
