The Bride Box, who sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, brides! It contains fun full-sized gifts, samples, and more and is catered specifically to brides who are in the wedding planning process.
The Bride Box ships via USPS Priority Mail and took just a few days to arrive.
I am still totally loving these boxes. They are so bright and fun! Other than noticing the fun pattern, I couldn’t help but notice how light the box was. It almost felt empty.
The January 2015 The Bride Box theme was “Love is all you need” and included the following items:
~BTB Jewelry Belle of the Ball Earrings ($32): I love these! They would work of your wedding or beyond. The Bride Box suggests wearing them when you celebrate Valentine’s Day with your fiancé!
~Sugar Bee Etching Cake Topper (~$5): This company can make you a cake topper in just about any size and you can have it say whatever you like.
~Bitty Bow Shop Hair Ties ($6.50): OMG I love these! They are probably the cutest hair ties I have seen. I love the colors, the patterns, everything. And they are also a very creative way to help ask your bridesmaids to stand up in your wedding.
~MissNowMrs.com Name Change ($29.95): I didn’t use a name change service, so I am not sure how useful they are or not. I do know that it’s a pain to change your name though! If you have used one, tell me about it!
~Dry Erase Board ($8): The Bride Box included an extra little bonus whiteboard to help you with your To Do’s!
~Tips: Every month The Bride Box also includes a little card or two with some wedding planning tips! This month’s was about Hiring Wedding Vendors and included some questions to ask both yourself and the vendor before you consider hiring them.
All totaled I came up with a value of $81.45 for the January 2015 The Bride Box! Did you get engaged over the holidays? If so, CONGRATS!!!!!!!! My Facebook and Instagram were filled with engagements this year and I am guessing I am not alone!

I did use a name change service and it was VERY helpful. I did not have to go to each location and get forms because they were all included. There were step by step directions and timelines for how/when to get things done. It was a pain in the ass but luckily since I was from a military family I was used to keeping all of my multiple forms of ID and proof of multiple residences, etc. The hardest one was getting my name changed at work. I still have log ins with my maiden name so that sucks but luckily everyone knows me by both last names. I also am STILL having difficult with some of my credit cards so I still use those with the old name. Pretty sure I am gonna get busted for identity fraud on myself in the future. But the basics were super easy cause all the information carried over from form to form so I did not have to keep filling out the same things on them.
Ha! I have been married for 8+ years and I still have some accounts in my maiden name. There were a few that were just such a pain to change that I gave up. I still even have a bank account in my maiden name. Oops!
If you aren’t going to use the name change service or have someone to pass it on to, I would be very happy to “take it off your hands” 🙂 I have been meaning to do this officially for a bit now!!! I can send you something in exchange – let me know!
