It took quite a while to arrive this month, but my February 2015 ipsy My Glam Bag is here!
If you aren’t familiar, ipsy is $10/month and sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost) and I am always amazed at how they do it.
ipsy ships via DHL Global Mail. Sometimes I receive my package in days and other months (like this one) it takes well over a week. You just never know.
The colors this month were fantastic! Lots of pinks for Valentine’s Day in here.
The February 2015 ipsy theme was #ipsylove and included the following items:
~China Glaze Nail Lacquer (Marry A Millionaire) ($7.50): Ohh, I liked this well enough in the picture, but in real life it is even better. I thought it was going to be just a blue glitter, but it has specks of green and purple in it as well. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
~City Color Cosmetics Creamy Lip Stain (Flirtini) ($4.99): Considering that this is only $4.99, it’s not a bad lip gloss. It’s not fantastic either, but it’ll work. And I won’t feel awful if I end up losing it.
~GLAMGLOW BRIGHTMUD® Eye Treatment ($11.50): LOVE! I love all things GlamGlow and was thrilled to get these. Beyond thrilled. I don’t want to pay full price for them (you can often find them at TJ Maxx though) so getting them included in a subscription is perfect.
~Luxie Beauty Large Angled Face Brush 504 ($6.40): I am debating on keeping this or giving it to a friend. It’s a cool brush but I am not sure that I need an angled brush.
~ModelCo BLUSH Cheek Powder (Peach Bellini) ($22 $11): This color is gorgeous and I love that this is full-sized. I don’t know if everyone got the same shade, but I am happy with the peach. ETA: I thought this was full-sized since it’s so big, but it turns out it’s a mini size (a HUGE mini-size)! Thank you for the heads up Natalie!
All totaled I came up with a value of $52.39 $41.39 for the February 2015 ipsy bag. I love the bag I received this month and in the Birchbox vs. ipsy battle for February, ipsy wins. It was a great month for me for ipsy (even though the bag took forever to get here).
