Bespoke Post March 2015 Review – “Worn” +

Bespoke Post delivers fresh and interesting lifestyle brands and products to men. Each month, you’ll get to choose from their limited-edition boxes filled with an array of products built around a central, unique theme. This month’s options were “Worn” (which was our selection) or “Polished”.  Worn included a leather belt and a money clip while “Polished” included a collection of essentials to keep your shoes looking top notch.  If you see the selections and decide you aren’t interested you are totally free to skip that month (you can opt out during the first 5 days of the month) and you won’t be charged.

The Box

Bespoke Post uses a variety of different shipping methods depending on the items on the box.  This month’s box shipped via UPS Mail Innovations and took about a week to arrive.

I don’t think that we have ever skipped a month of Bespoke Post.  They always have fantastic options which are high-quality and useful as well.

The Information Card

The March 2015 “Worn” Bespoke Post box featured the following two items which will “only get better with age”:

~Line of Trade Leather Belt (Saddle) (~$50): I can’t find this for sale online anywhere, but I am guessing it has to at least a $50 belt.  B was JUST saying how he needed a new belt so the timing on this was perfect. He thinks it runs a little small though compared to other belts he has that are the same size. Listen I have no idea how this is possible, but that’s what he said. I will try and dig out one of his other belts and post a comparison. The leather on this is “veg tanned” meaning it’s done all by hand using only natural ingredients rather than chemicals. This really is something that B will have for years.

~Owen & Fred Money Clip ($19): B uses a money clip / wallet (it’s a money clip on one side and the other side has a slot big enough for an id and a credit / debit card or two), but when he doesn’t want to carry that this will be his to go.  It’s made in Chicago out of brass and is lacquered so that even as it ages it will keep the metal bright.

Owen & Fred Money Clip

Since I couldn’t find a price for the belt online I can’t do a true cost breakdown on this box.  I would estimate the value to be AT LEAST $70.  Good belts are expensive and $45 for a belt of this quality and a money clip is a great deal!
