Dottiebox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of high quality handmade items for women, from both small businesses and indie brands. They offer their standard Dottiebox which is $26/month and a Dottiebox Mini subscription, which is $13/month. I did a review on the March (full-sized) Dottiebox here and now it’s time for the Dottiebox Mini review.
Dottiebox ships via USPS. The full-sized box ships during the first week of the month while the mini box ships more towards mid-month.
The mini and full-size boxes use the same brands each month, but you likely won’t find the same items in each box which is nice. So if you wanted to subscribe to both boxes you totally could and couldn’t have to worry about duplicates. Here is what the March 2015 Dottiebox Mini included:
~Old Whaling Company Lip Scrub ($6): After the rough winter we had my lips needed this! I didn’t think I needed this until I tried it though. But my lips felt so much softer after this. And this is a big container for a lip scrub so this will last a while.
~Totally Tish Leaf Earrings ($4.99): I think these are necessarily my style so I will likely end up passing these on to a friend. I do think her shop as a ton of cute stuff though and I loved the necklace from the full-sized box this month.
~Itty Bitty Bubbles & Co. Shower Steamer ($2): These smells amazing! You place it on the floor of your shower and it makes your shower smell amazing. It’s like being on vacation or something. I am going to pick up a few more of these because they are so fun to have.
All totaled I came up with a value of $13 for the March 2015 Dottiebox Mini. If you aren’t Dottiebox is for you or not, totally start with a mini and see what you think. At $13/month ($10 + shipping) isn’t not crazy expensive and is a fun treat to get every month.
Did you get a Dottiebox Mini this month? What’d you think? March boxes are now sold out, but if you are interested in ordering April or just want to learn more, click here.
It’s a fun treat. I’m disappointed to receive earrings because I can’t use them. I liked the necklace from the regular review. I could smell the shower bomb before I even opened the box. I already used mine up. I’m going to use the lip scrub as a body scrub. It looks like it full of oils! This is my box for now.
Those earrings look just like a pair I got from Box of Happies!
