For the first time in months I decided to order a FabKids outfit. I actually ended up ordered two outfits, but I am just going to do the review on one.
If you aren’t familiar FabKids, which is part of the JustFab / Fabletics family, is a monthly kids clothing subscription service. Each month you are given the opportunity to select an outfit (all of which are $29.95) for your child that was curated based on your style preferences. You are free to choose one of the outfits selected for you, any of the other outfits available or you may “Skip” by the 5th of the month and you will not be charged for that month.
FabKids ships via FedEx Smart Post. I guess it was a little delayed this month because of weather issues from their Kentucky warehouse. They sent out an e-mail explaining it all so I didn’t think it was a big deal.
Just like with Fabletics all of the items arrive in their own individually sealed bags. I guess it was a while between the day I ordered and the day this arrived because I forgot what I had ordered!
FabKids doesn’t include an information card, but they do include a packing slip. I ordered the “Red Color Pop Outfit” (along with two other pieces) which consisted of the following:
~Striped Graphic Tee: I remember going back and forth on this shirt, but eventually the colors won me over. I got this in an XXS for WB and it fits him perfect. He’s nearly 3, but he’s tiny and wears a 2T.
~Pop Color Knit Pant: I love these! They are probably the reason I ended up getting that striped shirt. WB (and L for that matter) mainly wear track pants and sweats like this so WB will get a ton of use out of these. I like that they are comfortable as well as cute.
Since these pieces are FabKids exclusives I couldn’t do a cost breakdown on the box. But at $29.95/outfit that’s $15 per item. I picked a casual outfit because that’s what my boys wear the most, but they have dresser outfits for boys and dresses for girls which are a really good deal at only $29!
My intent is not to be mean, but on a “professional” blog like yours, I see SO many grammatical and spelling errors. I think you rush through these reviews, post pictures that I can see on my own if I go to the websites, and you never swatch anything. A lot of what’s here is just a repeat of what comes in a card in the box or is already on a website, it’s so rote. I would expect a little more professionalism here since it’s career. Again, no mean intent, just letting you know about these things and maybe you can focus on correcting the mistakes (spell check?). I’d rather see a more personal review than so many – quality vs. quantity. I might be back, but taking a break for now. good luck!
You are right. I really do need do work on the typos! I can read it a million times and not see it because I “know” what’s it’s supposed to say. I need to think about having someone else do read thrus for me! Thank you for your comment!
