FAIR Treasure, who kindly sent me this box to review, sends fair trade items such as jewelry, glass wear, pottery and paper goods, to your door each month. Their goal is to make it easier for everyone to explore the very best that Fair Trade products have to offer… and in turn, providing exposure and supporting the communities of people making these treasures.

FAIR Treasure ships via USPS and generally arrives in the first half of the month.

Ohh, I could tell right away that this was going to be a box I liked!

The March 2015 FAIR Treasure theme was “Spring Forward with Spring Box” (or Farmer’s Market Friendly Box) and includes the following items to help you lighten your load a your forage at your local farmer’s market:

~Olive Wood Twister Servers ($34.99): OMG.  These are absolutely gorgeous.  They were hand carved in Kenya and are described as having “almost machine like precision”.   I am blown away by the quality of these and would love to know how long it takes to carve them!  I’ll for sure be using this on the patio this summer for serving salads.

~Leather Accented Purselet ($16): After the Tsunami in 2004, a group of artisans banded together to create small enterprises. These helped to spur much needed economic development and create jobs.  I am thinking about hooking this inside a tote bag as a little change purse.

All totaled I came up with a value of $50.99 for the March 2015 FAIR Treasure box.  And I loved it!  The twisted servers alone made this box.  As a matter of fact, I think this was one of my favorite months from FAIR Treasure.
