Everything was packaged very nicely and there were a few things I could see that I was excited about already.

The Information Card

The March 2015 GlobeIn Artisan Box theme was “Sustain” and included the following items to make it easier to lower your impact on the planet while raising the quality of life:

~Market Tote Bag (India) ($6.25): I love getting tote bags in subscription boxes.  You can never have too many.  At least I don’t think you can. They are awesome for library books, the farmer’s market, an extra change of clothes for the kids – anything.  I have been trying to leave a bag in my car just in case I forgot mine (which I usually do).

~Cacao Nibs (Colombia) ($4.69): Sweetriot – the company who makes these – works with “indigenous farmers to incentivize sustainable soil management and to ensure the continued longevity” of the crop.  I thought these were great and would get them again.

~Palm Leaf Basket (Mexico) ($12): Each of these baskets can take up to 6 hours to weave!  They are made from discarded palm leaves which is pretty cool.  Amazing!  I don’t know what I will use this for, but maybe to store some items in the bathroom?

~Lip Balm (Brazil) ($7.49):  Love this! It smells good, moisturizes nicely and the tube is really cool because it’s totally biodegradable.

~Volcano Rice (Indonesia) ($4.58): Volcanic rice!  It grows from the mineral-rich volcanic soils.  We’ll be testing this out in the next few days for sure.  Maybe even tonight.

~Coconut Bowl (Vietnam) ($14): I saved my favorite item for last. This bowl was made out of a discarded coconut shell.  I love it.  The bowls are food safe and absolutely gorgeous.

All totaled I came up with a value of $49.01 for the March 2015 GlobeIn Artisan Box. I was really happy with this one and thought the variety of items was great.  There was a little something for everyone in here which is good.
