Hammock Pack is a monthly surprise pack filled with everything you need to take a much needed getaway without even leaving your home. Boxes are geared towards women and each month you will receive a pack filled with a mix of food, bath products, housewares, and accessories that you’d only find if you visited that month’s destination city.
Hammock Pack ships via USPS Priority Mail around the 25th of the month. They send a tracking e-mail a few days before then but the boxes generally don’t start moving until at least the 25th.
Last month’s Hammock Pack was pretty meh (lots of food) so I was thrilled to open this up and see some fantastic items!
The March 2015 Hammock Pack destination was Austin and included the following items:
~Luna Tigre Candle – Bluebonnet Soy ($8): I love candles and this is a good strong floral scent. These candles are hand-poured in Austin, Texas and burn for about 20 hours.
~Bearded Brothers – Bodacious Blueberry Vanilla Energy Bar ($3.50): These bars are vegan, non-GMO and are packed with protein and real blueberries. It’s handmade in small batches in Austin and is certified USDA Organic. I haven’t cracked into this yet and will probably throw it in my purse for an on the go snack.
~Little Minnow Designs – Tea Towel ($14): These towels are hand printed by a pair of sisters in Austin. I love the design on this and will be hanging this on my stove handle.
~A Wild Soap Bar – Passion Flower Organic Soap ($6.50): This is another handmade in Austin item. The soap smells fantastic and is supposed to help relieve anxiety while calming frayed nerves. Sounds good to me.
All totaled I came up with a value of $31.50 for the March 2015 Hammock Pack. I was quite happy with this box and really enjoyed that they used so many smaller businesses this month!
