Lip Monthly is an affordable monthly subscription for all LIP LOVERS. For only $10/month, Lip Monthly allows you to discover the best products for your lips, and fall in love with them.
Lip Monthly ships via USPS within the first 10 days of the month. I am not totally sure if this did ship by the 10th, but if it did it took a while to get here.
I would love to know how these $10 subscription boxes / bags do it. To pack a bag full of goodies, ship it and still make a profit. It’s totally fascinating.
The March 2015 Lip Monthly featured pinks and corals in honor of the upcoming sunny days:
~The Bag: Lip Monthly sends their products in a Lip Monthly branded cosmetics bag. I’ve gotten this bag a few times now and while it’s cute I am hoping they start mixing it up soon.
~Hikari Lipstick (Crush) ($13): This is pink all right! It’s softer on, but it’s still PINK. If you want a matte pink – this is it! I am going to give this to my sister-in-law (the lipstick fanatic) and see what she thinks.
~Jordana Easyshine Glossy Lip Color (Raspberry) ($1.99): This is classified as a balm on the Jordana site and I would agree with that. It’s a sheer’ish pink with a little sparkle to it and moisturizes as well.
~JCat Lip Crayon (Caramel Mocha) ($3.99): Not only do I love the color of this lip crayon, but I also feel like it’d be an awesome eye color in a pinch. It’s so pretty and went on so smoothly. I can’t believe this is only $3.99!
~Sally Hansen Nail Polish (Mighty Mango) ($2.19): I don’t know how many different colors of polish they sent out, but I am more than happy with this color. It’s bright and fun and screams Spring. I could probably call it a coral and not a mango, but it doesn’t really matter.
~Bonus Item: Jelly Pong Pong Supermodel Stain ($16): Lip Monthly sends out bonus items if you do a YouTube review (just e-mail them with the link) and this month’s bonus for me was the Jelly Pong Pong. I’m not sure if everyone who does the reviews gets the same item so if you got a bonus let me know what it was!
All totaled I came up with a value of $21.17 for the March 2015 Lip Monthly bag! It’s over double the cost of the bag (I didn’t even include the value of the bonus item in there) and was a solid all around bag.
