MunchPak, who kindly sent me this package to review, is a monthly food subscription service and ecommerce website that aims to introduce the best, new, and popular snacks from all over the world to the average Joe. MunchPak offers three different sized packs – the MunchPak Mini ($9.95/month) includes 5-6 snacks, the MunchPak Original ($19.95/month) which includes 10+ snacks each month and the MunchPak Family Pak ($39.95/month), which includes 20+ snacks.
MunchPak ships packages twice a week and are shipped in a variety of ways depending on where you are located. Mine shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
I received the Original MunchPak for review and it was loaded with snacks.
MunchPak doesn’t include a detailed information card in their paks (each box is a little different), but you can head over to their site to read more about the snacks you received. Here is what my box included:
~Cajillions – Watermelon: If the package didn’t say watermelon on these I never would have guessed that was the flavor. They are chewy and almost gum like, but they aren’t gum.
~Chocolate Cone: I have no idea what the name of this is and I cannot locate it on the MunchPak site. Basically it’s a cone with chocolate filling in it. The filling is almost frosting like and is very good.
~Hazelnut Poker Wafer: I love wafer cookies and these hazelnut ones are delicious. Why aren’t wafer cookies more popular? So good!
~Delicje Raspberry Biscuit: Not my favorite snack of the bunch.L thought they were great though.
~Jack ‘N Jill Chippy BBQ Flavor: I have yet to try these because I think they’d be more of a B snack. B and L. They are barbecue flavored corn chips. They almost look like fritos, but they aren’t.
~Argo Yogo Fruit Candy With Yogurt Filling: These are yogurt covered fruit pieces. It starts off like a hard candy and then gets chewy as you get done with it. They are all individual wrapped and are so good.
~Unknown: I have no idea what this is and I am hoping one of you does! I think it’s a sesame / green tea sort of treat, but I don’t know? I would love to find it before I try it!
~Pocky Milk Flavor: I love pocky sticks. I’ve never tried the milk flavor before, but I really like it.
~Pei Tien Corn Roll (French Thick Corn Soup): The description on these states they taste like buttery corn. I’m not sure about that, but I didn’t dislike them.
~Eiffel Bon Bons Apple: I liked these much more than I excepted. I thought they were going to be sour (green apple things usually are sour), but they aren’t. They are chewy and good.
~Date Filled Cookie Bar: Nothing about these attract me. I don’t think dates taste awful, but they aren’t attractive at all to look at! I will say though, that the bar is better than the packaging looks.

My fianc? said that the snack you couldn’t figure out in the green packaging was “like a rice cake with peanuts and stuff”. I couldn’t get any more out of him about it!
The green snack is white pepper, Yilan scallion crackers. It is from Taiwan. Hope this helps.
And it also says pumpkin crackers.
Pumpkin Crisp with White Pepper and Scallion Flavor
— That’s how I would translate the unknown green package. It also says it contains no preservatives and no artificial food coloring.
If you like wafer cookies, you need to find the ones from Manner. They’re seriously the best. If you have a Cost Plus World Market (or Bed Bath and Beyond that sells WM products) you can get them for like $1/square pack. http://www.manner.at/en/home/products/2 They’re originally from Vienna and so good. Quadratini is a close second and can be found at a lot of places.
