The Bride Box, who sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, brides! It contains fun full-sized gifts, samples, and more and is catered specifically to brides who are in the wedding planning process.
The Bride Box ships via USPS Priority Mail and took just a few days to arrive.
This box was so light that I was worried it was empty. It wasn’t though. It just had a lot of light items in it.
The March 2015 The Bride Box contained the following items:
~Melissa’s Jewelry & Accessories Custom Necklace ($24): When you subscribe to The Bride Box you are asked for your initials, wedding date, name, fiancé’s name, your new last name, etc. because they do send out personalized items. Even though I know they send out personalized things, I am always blown away by it. I imagine that it’s a huge undertaking and it’s quite impressive that they pull it off so well!
~Lily and Val Chalkboard Art Sign ($19): Lily and Val offers an assortment of chalkboard art prints, call phone cases, thank you cards and more. The print included is for your guest book table and will look great in a fancy frame.
~The Handford Collection Stationery: The Handford Collection offers a variety of stationery products for your wedding. Two Thank You cards were included in the box, but they also do Save the Dates, Wedding Invitations and more.
~Ordinary Artists Tiny Journals ($2): These journals are handmade and can be used as shower gifts or wedding favors. They come in a variety of sizes, but the ones included in the box are tiny. Like business card tiny. I am not sure what I will use mine for, but I think they are adorable.
I couldn’t find prices on all of the items so I was unable to do a full cost breakdown on this box. I like that The Bride Box sends items for you to enjoy while you are engaged (like the necklace) and also items to help inspire you for planning your wedding. You might not use everything from the boxes at your wedding, but it will help introduce you to some new vendors and check out the quality of the items in person!

I am trying to convince my fiance to elope. Vegas sounds nice! Or at least do a quick ceremony at the courthouse with only our parents and siblings in attendance. Precisely because I don’t want to deal with all of these things. Also I’m not changing my last name! (I am probably not the target audience for this box…I will admit to kind of wanting the fancy dress, but that’s about it.)
I was not impressed by this box. I sent it to my friend who is the bride to be and just had expected more! When you go to the site and see the pictures of “what’s inside”, I think that March was completely lacking- especially for the price! Hopefully april is better because the box did feel empty and basically was!
